Alex Avila has been in two productions. He loves performing on stage and is excited to be performing in this year’s musical. He has always loved to sing and has always wanted to be in a play or musical ever since he was little. Alex would like to thank his mom who has supported him during two productions in his Freshman year, and his sister who makes him want to try as hard as he can. He also wants to especially thank his friends Patricia, Joseph, Jon, Nick, Natalya, Sienna, and Penelope for being there to help him throughout everything. He would also like to thank his theater teacher for giving him this opportunity. He hopes that everyone will like the musical.
Natalie Camarena  (Olive's Dad)
Natalie has had the privilege to be in every musical production at Cal High School over the last four years: “Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief,” “Beauty and The Beast,” and “The Little Mermaid.” She found her way to the stage thanks to Cal High’s Marching Band where her friends motivated her to audition for the Comedy Sportz improv team. Natalie has continued to stay in VAPA programs because of how happy she is able to positively inspire others. As her final theatrical production, she would like to give great thanks to her parents, by assisting on her journey every way they could and her sisters, Nikki and Emma, for loving her every step of the way. You may recognize her from last year's production as Ariel in “The Little Mermaid”, among various other roles in past productions and dance performances. Layla is excited and sad about this last performance. But, she is hopeful this won't be her last time on a stage. She'd like to give a big shout out to her family for always supporting her passions throughout this journey. Also, her directors and teachers whom she has worked with for being amazing mentors all these years.

This is Ron's second show being on stage, but is his third production being with California High School. She thanks her friends and family for always supporting her, but more specifically, her Mom, who helps her grow every day.
Clover Morris  (Carl Dad & Ensemble)
Clover is pandemonic about her third and final performance at California High School! Having portrayed Farrah in California High School’s Theater Department’s production of “She Kills Monsters” and Prince Bartholomew of “The Twelve Huntsmen” – among various other ensemble roles – they are elated to reexperience the jubilation of delivering a performance among their peers one last time. However, he simultaneously dreads the challenge of singing and dancing, as previously she had never considered herself capable of overcoming such. Although, they never considered themselves capable of acting either, and that never stopped them from trying. So, with the support from their friends, cast-mates, and director, Clover is ready to deliver a very, very, very nice performance that he hopes you enjoy very, very, very much!
