Kris Huston began her love of music as a young child singing hymns in church. She developed a passion for theater in elementary school and performed, choreographed, and directed shows throughout high school and college. After earning a BA in Vocal Music, a Minor in Theater, and a Masters in Theology, she served many years as a Music Minister in large Orange County churches. Kris has taught at the college level, toured with her band, performed professionally across Southern California, and recorded multiple albums available on iTunes and Spotify. She has also directed national award-winning theater teams whose students have landed leads in National Tours. Founded in 2012, Huston Performing Arts holds a special place in her heart and has grown into a thriving space for kids and adults to explore music, dance, and theater.
