Into the Woods Cast

Ellis Hendrix (Baker) is the son of Danny and Heather Hendrix and a junior at Cairo High School. He is a member of Student Council, CYC, FCA, NHS, and the band. He has been in the past productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Annie Jr., The Music Man Jr., The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast Jr., Cinderella, and The Little Mermaid Jr. After high school, he hopes to attend Truett McConnell University.

Jenna-Marie Melvin (Florinda) is the daughter of Tabbatha and Brandon Melvin and a freshman at CHS. She is a member of the chorus, show choir, and the honors academy. She has been in the past productions of The Little Mermaid Jr., Odysseus Comes Home, A Suessified Christmas Carol, Frozen Jr., OZ, and Silent Nite. After high school, she plans to pursue a career as a pediatric surgeon. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her dreams.

Markus Russo (Jack) is the son of Gabe and Mand Russo, and a sophomore at Cairo High School. He is a member of the band, chorus, and Odyssey of the Mind. He has been in past productions of Beauty and the Beast Jr., The Little Mermaid Jr., and The Music Man Jr. After high school, he plans to be in an orchestra.

Iversyn Session (Steward) is the daughter of Alwanda and Nathaniel Session and a current senior at Cairo High School. She is a member of the CHS Chorus, the syrupmaker band, and, of course, the CHS drama club. She has participated in past productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, The Sound of Music, Once an Angel, Beauty and the Beast, A Suessified Christmas Carol, South Pacific, It’s A Wonderful Life, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In the future, Iversyn plans to attend college and major in sociology. Iversyn would like to add that her plan for life isn’t concrete, because nothing in life goes perfectly as expected; she welcomes the un-expectancy and just wants to be happy in the end.

Ella Singletary (Little Red Riding Hood) is the daughter of Craig and Kasie Singletary and a sophomore at CHS. She is a member of the CHS Band. She has been in past productions of Princess What's Her Name, Robin Hood, A Christmas Story, Oz, and Oh Holy Night. After high school, she would love to be on Broadway. Ella would like to thank her parents for being her biggest supporters and for pushing her to be the best she can be.

Kennedi Smart (Witch) is the daughter of Catherine Smart and Jerome Smart and a sophomore at Cairo High School. She is a member of Ladies of Legacy, Concert Choir, and Show Choir. She has been in past productions of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Oz, The Music Man Jr, The Little Mermaid Jr, Aladdin Jr, etc. After highschool she plans to go for a degree in Master of Fine Arts. Kennedi would like to thank her parents for supporting her throughout her journey, and Mrs. Harrell for making all of this possible.

Jane Waver Willis (Ensemble) is the daughter of Nina and Greg Willis, and in the eighth grade at Washington middle school. She is a member of the WMS band, WMS drama club, odyssey of the mind, NJHS, and the International Thespian Society. She has been in 19 past productions; including Frozen JR., Legally Blonde JR., and The Sound of Music. She would like to thank her parents, friends, family, and everyone else who has helped her through life.

Olivia Woods (Jack’s Mother) is the daughter of David and Heidi Woods. She is a senior at Cairo High School, and is a part of the CHS Band, CHS Jazz Band, CHS Stage Makers, National Honor Society, Key Club, Cairo Youth Council. She has also participated with South Georgia Ballet for 14 years, along with Tosac and Thomasville Music and Drama Troupe. She has participated in some form of drama for the past 10 years, some shows include, Beauty and the Beast, Sound of Music, Little Mermaid, The Music Man, and many more. She hopes to have a career in architecture and will be attending school in the Fall. Olivia would like to thank her mother for introducing her to the arts at a very young age, and supporting her through her many activities.

Merritt Helton (Rapunzel) is the daughter of Mike and Laurie Helton, and a senior at Cairo High School. She is a member of the band, varsity soccer team, NHS, CYC, Key Club, and student council at Cairo High School. She has been in past productions of Cinderella, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Once an Angel, The Sound of Music, and Beauty and the Beast. After high school, she plans to pursue a career in architecture or business. Merritt would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and her granny for being her biggest fan.

Lydia Harrison (Stepmother) is the daughter of Travis and Sarah Harrison, and a freshmen at CHS. She is a member of the CHS band, The Stage Makers and the FCA. She has been in past productions of Oz, Rootin’ Tootin’ Lootin’ Shootin’ Robin Hood etc. After high school, she hopes to become a psychiatrist. Lydia would like to thank her drama family, parents and friends for pushing her and encouraging her to be the best that she can be!

Corrine Carrillo is the grand daughter to Eva brumbley and daughter of Lacy Dickerson. She is a member of the Chs band. She has been in drama since the 6th grade and has been in countless plays. After high school she wishes to pursue a career in theatre arts. Corrine would like to thank all her close friends and family for support.

Kyle Boyett (Cinderella’s Prince & The Wolf) is the son of Paul and Jill Boyett, and a senior at CHS. He is a member of the CHS Jazz, Marching, and Symphonic Band. He has been in past productions of Beauty and the Beast, The Sound of Music, and Cinderella. He plans on pursuing a career in data science through Georgia Southern University. He would like to thank his parents for always believing in him and supporting every decision he makes.

Mason Best (Mysterious Man) is the son of Scott and Rebecca Best, and a Junior at CHS. He is on the tennis team. He has been in past productions of Princess What's Her Name,Sound of Music, Beauty and The Beast, The Little Mermaid, It’s a Wonderful Life, Your a Goodman Charlie Brown, and OZ.. Mason hopes to pursue a career in speech therapy. Mason would like to say that he’s thankful to anyone who supports the Drama Club

eorgia Barham-Taylor (Cinderella) is the daughter of Julie and Darrell Taylor, and a Senior at CHS. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Book Club, Cairo Youth Council, Key Club, Political Science, Interact Club, and a Senior Superlative. She is also Brass Captain of the Marching Band and President of Theatre Club. She has been in numerous productions such as The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Cinderella, Once Upon an Angel, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Oz, and O Holy Nite. After high school, she will attend Georgia College and State University where she will major in Biology and pursue a career in Optometry.

Turner Mabry Baggett(Baker’s Wife) is the daughter of Kevin and Brandy Baggett and is a senior at Cairo High School. She is in CYC, KEY, Interact, FCA, Political Science, the Vice-President of the Theatre Club, and was the Alto section leader of the Voices of Cairo. She was also a senior superlative and played Varsity softball for 4 years. She has been in multiple productions, such as: Cinderella, Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, Once and Angel, Oz, Frozen, O Holy Nite, and Into the Woods. She plans to attend Emmanuel College to pursue a career in secondary math education and become a high school math teacher. She then wants to come back to Cairo High School to teach. Turner Mabry would like to say thank you to her parents for never putting her in a box and allowing her to be a part of many different things.
