Almost Maine Cast

Sawyer Kelp is a sophomore at Brown County High School and will be playing the roles of Pete and Man from "Almost Maine. He has been a part of the theatre department for roughly a year and this will be his third show. Sawyer was a part of the ensemble for "Mamma Mia" and played the role of Rudolpho in "Matilda Jr." He is very excited for you to see the Brown County Theatre Department's production of "Almost Maine."

Lilly is a Junior at Brown County High School and is very excited to be performing in Almost, Maine. Lilly has been with us for 6 years now debuting as Babe (Crimes of the Heart), Ms. Scarlett (Clue), Sophie Sheridan (Mamma Mia), and is definitely one of our favorites ;). Lilly is also a part of BCHS' Rhapsody Show Choir and is Captain of our Cheer Team. Lilly also loves to nap, sing, dance, and drive Mr. Lyng insane. Lilly hopes that you are absolutely mesmerized by her performance and is excited you're here to watch!

Conner Henderson is an actor/technical member in the Brown County High School Theatre Department. He has had prior technical experience on Clue and Mama Mia! and acting experience as Sergei in Matilda Jr. He is playing East in Almost Maine and has aspirations for Farquad in Shrek the Musical.

Aubrey Harden is a Junior at BCHS. She has been a part of the theatre program since she was in 7th grade. Aubrey has been the costuming chief and involved in the cast of many shows. In Almost Maine she is playing the role of Glory. She is very excited to be able to have more time on stage than in her previous roles. Aubrey hopes you enjoy Almost, Maine.

Jakob Prairie is a Jr at Brown County High School. He has was in the ensemble in Mama Mia last year. He is excited to perform in Almost Maine this fall and will trying out for Shrek, the spring musical.

My name is Taylor Myers. I am a sophomore at BCHS. I will be playing Sandrine this year in the play Almost, Maine. I was a spotlight operator for last fall's play, Clue. I was also in the ensemble of Mamma Mia this last Spring. I am in the school's Rhapsody show choir group this year again. I am really excited to be in the show this year with everyone.

Rebekah Myers is playing the waitress in Almost, Maine, and they are very excited about it! They were in the chorus of Mamma Mia! last year, and they have longed for the stage ever since. They're a freshmen, and will sell their soul for garlic bread. They hope you enjoy the show!

Abby Williams is a Senior at Brown County High School. This is her fourth show. She was in Spoonriver anthology, Clue, and Mamma Mia. After High school she plans on going to a four year college to become a Elementary school teacher. She is really excited for you to see our show.

Wilbur (otherwise known as Alex) is a freshman at Brown County High School. He does theatre and colour guard, this is his first show at the High School. He hopes to be an actor of sorts after high school, his second option is anything music related. He's just a silly little guy trying his best.

Oliver Tincher is a senior at Brown County High School and is probably a real person. (And definitely not three ferrets in a trench coat.) He likes cats, chaos, and camomile tea. He has been in show choir for four years now so it is probably safe to assume he enjoys it. He is known to insist that there are no bodies in the pit - even if not asked. We're not entirely sure what he does, but he has thus far been observed acting, building, costuming, lighting, doing makeup, messing with sound, and ushering. He will be performing the role of Lendall in this show despite the fact that neither our director nor our actors have any memory of him ever auditioning.

Joey Denison is a senior at Brown County High School, and is currently serving his second year as technical director. That essentially means that he sleeps in the theatre, and only goes home to confirm to his parents that he's still alive. This year though, he's crossing enemy lines and is acting for Almost, Maine to prove to all the other actors that it really isn't that hard... Right?

Cadence Cox is a sophomore at Brown County High School and is thrilled to make another appearance in a school play as Chad! Cadence has been in other productions before, including Clue, Mama Mia, and Matilda Jr! He is also a part of the highschool band and winter guard!

Wesley Bethards is a junior at Brown County Schools. He is excited to play Phil in Almost Maine. Wesley has performed for with BCHS Theatre Department before as the role of Colonel Mustard in Clue and part of the cast in Mamma Mia.

Maya Huber is a sophomore at Brown County High School. She is thrilled to be playing Marci in Almost Maine. This is Maya’s second year with the Brown County Theatre Department. She has previously played Mrs. White in Clue, and Miss Honey in Matilda Jr.

Preston Zimmer is a senior at BCHS. They've participated backstage for Clue, Mamma Mia, and Matilda Jr. in the previous year. This will be their first time as an actor on stage. They mainly practice makeup, but help with other parts in theatre like costumes and set building.

Since December of last year, Basil has been a part of Brown County High school's theatre department, and helped fill one spot that the department was lacking in: publicity Basil has gone from techie to actor AND techie, while still advertising the upcoming shows in the best way he can.

Claire Roberds is a young beginner actor, this is the first year they are participating in the theater. Almost Maine is the first show Claire is acting in and they are very excited to be working with so many amazing and talented people.
