About The Tee Tones: A Night of Motown Classics

The TeeTones are a dynamic and entertaining vocal group that came together almost a decade and a half ago in New York City to preserve the great legacy of the musical artists and groups of the Motown and Doowop Soul eras that humbly began on American street corners, subways, and high school halls, where, in the 1950s and ‘60s, teenagers once gathered to create the soulful group harmony that would give birth to Rock-n-Roll and become the fabric of American Popular music.

This great musical legacy and history is recreated in live shows by The TeeTones that span over 3 decades of timeless music audiences of all ages know, appreciate, and love. Passionate vocal performances coupled with soulful group harmony and a fun and interactive show that have audience members singing, dancing, and clapping along are what audiences have come to expect from a TeeTones show.

Since their inception, The TeeTones have opened for musical legends of the eras they pay homage to, including Little Anthony &The Imperials, Bobby Rydell, The Duprees, The Drifters, The Coasters, The Miracles and many, many more, including exclusive events singing for sir Paul McCartney of The Beatles and Motown founder Berry Gordy, and on stages such as The Beacon Theater, Kings Theatre, Wildwoods Convention Center, Barclays Center, Lincoln Center, and Smyrna Opera House, as well as on TV specials including PBS’ “Doowop Generations”, CBS’ Late Show w/ Stephen Colbert, ABC’s Good Morning America, and NBC’s Late Night w/ Seth Meyers singing with rapper Amine, and collaborations with artists talented such as Niia and bands like Post Modern Jukebox (which has garnered over 25 million views on YouTube to date), just to name a few.
