Aggie Manville (Emma Browning)
Emma is in 8th grade and is 14 years old. She has been in multiple performances such as Matilda, The Sound of Music, James and the Giant Peach, and many more. Theater is her passion, but she can also be found playing volleyball, softball, cheerleading, and dance. She wants to pursue something in the field of performing arts when she gets older.
Marla "Smitty" Smith/Doris the Maid (Em Zobel)
Em is a Fine Arts student at Delta College. She has previously been on stage with Muth Community Players in most recently as Jennifer Honey in Matilda, Oliver!, Newsies, and Peter Pan. She is very excited to get to perform this role for you!
Saul Watson/Doctor Rex Forbes (Eric Pattok)
Eric has performed in numerous productions with Muth Community Players beginning in 2013 in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." He feels fortunate to have shared these experiences with his children, Lauren and Jake. Eric enjoys bringing his characters to life and making the audience laugh. Eric is proud to have had a chance to grow and learn as a performer with his kids and his extended theatre family!
Henry Benish/Lord Dudley (John Dunning)
John has played the role as Fat Daddy in "You Have The Right To Remain Dead." Doug DuPont in "Sandy Toes & Salty Kisses." John's favorite role so far has been Elwood P. Dowd in "Harvey" He is 57 years old, an amazing father of 3 awesome kids and his favorite color is Plaid! His future goals.....RETIRE RICH!!!
Polly Benish/Lady Margaret (Karen Fenech)
lives in Saginaw where she works as a counselor in an Alternative High School. Karen is excited to be in her first theatrical production at the BPAC though she has been involved with the Curbside Singers in the past. Having played Violet in Play On 10 years ago, she jumped at the chance to be part of this hilarious show and hopes the audience laughs as much as the cast did while bring the show to life. Some of her favorite roles include: Constance (Who is in Bed with the Butler), Apassionatta (L’il Abner), Doris Walker (Miracle on 34th Street), Miss Willie (The Curious Savage) and Elaine Harper (Arsenic and Old Lace). When she is not at work or rehearsal Karen loves white water rafting, kayaking, reading, and playing with her dog, Pip. Karen thanks her family and friends for all of their love, support, and dog sitting!
Geraldine "Gerry" Dunbar (Lauren Masud Visuri)
Lauren has been acting, singing and dancing since she was 8! She has been in various productions with Muth Players including playing Marian in Music Man, Nancy in Oliver!, and Katherine in Newsies. She is thrilled and proud to be back on stage, being directed by Jake, one of her past theatre workshop students
Billy Carewe/Stephen Sellers (Leon Kratz)
Leon is extremely excited about being in this production. Play On! is the play that Leon found his passion for acting on the stage. This is the 3rd production Leon has had a role in for the BPAC. Leon is hoping to bring out all the laughter with his performance and is very happy that he gets to share the stage with his real life wife.
Phyllis Montague (Linda TerBurgh)
Linda has been with Muth Community Players from the very beginning. She has been in almost every winter Main Stage show since Suessical in 2012. She has also been in the following productions:Most recently Matilda, Wizard of Oz, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Oliver!, Newsies, and Peter Pan. Linda loves to travel, knit, crochet and sew.
Violet Imbry/Diana Lassiter (Melanie Kratz)
Melanie has been involved in many productions with the Muth Community Players. She loves the opportunity to perform for and entertain audiences. She has been blessed to be in shows with so many talented people. What she loves most about theater is that theater is a family, many times both in the actual theater and outside.
Louise Peary (Selah Rice)
Selah is 16 years old and a homeschool student. She has been in several productions with Muth Community Players, most recently as the acrobat in Matilda as well as including a star role as Alice in Through the Looking Glass. She has also been in our summerstock theatre programs such as "The Little Mermaid." Selah is a gamer and the mother of four cats. Many times Selah walks around the house singing show tunes while at least one animal follows and quite possibly dances along!!
