Zaida Lemon (Princess Tiana)
Zaida is a 12-year-old 7th grader at John Lewis Academy. She loves to write, dance, and read, and has been involved in theater for the past three years. In this production, Zaida plays Prince Tiana, a hardworking waitress from New Orleans who dreams of opening her own restaurant. While she says she doesn’t have a hidden talent, she enjoys drawing in her free time and dreams of studying law after she graduates. For Zaida, being part of Broadway on Bankhead means she has the confidence and ability to perform on any stage!
Eric Sharp III (Prince Naveen)
Eric is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Thomas W. Dortch Academy at BEST Academy. He enjoys gaming and listening to music, and has been part of theater for almost a year. Working on this show has taught him how to step into new personalities and bring characters to life with confidence. Eric is passionate about music and dreams of becoming a rapper or musician. Though he’s one of the newer members of Broadway on Bankhead, landing the role of Prince Naveen shows that he’s more than ready to rise to the challenge. To Eric, being part of Broadway on Bankhead means proving that even the “underdog” can shine in the spotlight.
Chloe Dennis (Charlotte 'Lottie' La Bouff)
Chloe is an 18-year-old, 2025 graduate of Frederick Douglass High School. A lover of all things creative, she enjoys painting and reading manga in her free time. Chloe has been involved in theater for 4 years and fell in love with it because of the way it makes her feel empowered and alive. Working on this show as Lottie has taught Chloe versatility, boldness, and comedic craft while still grounding her performance in heart. Chloe shares the stage with her twin sister, who is also a cast member; making this production even more special. Chloe attends Atlanta Technical College where she is working towards her associate’s degree, and credits Broadway on Bankhead for helping her perfect her craft and prepare for the real world. To her, Broadway on Bankhead is a launchpad for her dreams!
Dulce 'Candy' Perez (Eudora)
Candy Perez is a 13-year-old student at John Lewis Academy, currently in the 8th grade. She loves listening to music, playing video games, and watching movies. After attending Broadway on Bankhead’s production of Oz, Dulce knew she wanted to be part of the family, and now she’s making her lead-role debut with the company! In this production, Candy is Tiana's mother, Eudora. Though she considers herself somewhat shy, she loves to dance and has been working hard alongside her castmates to improve her skills. She enjoys reading the scriptures at church and was even told by her praise director that she can sing; though she's still deciding if she believes them! Candy dreams of becoming a film actor, and so being part of Broadway on Bankhead has given her a great start toward making that dream a reality. She looks forward to growing as a performer and hopes to take on even bigger roles in the future!
Christyanna 'Anna' Dennis (The Shadow Man)
Anna is an 18-year-old graduate of the Class of 2025 at Frederick Douglass High School. She loves to dance and play piano, and has been in theater for three and a half years. In this production, Anna plays the Shadow Man; a villainous character she enjoyed bringing to life with dramatic flair. Anna currently attends Clark Atlanta University and is studying psychology, with hopes of becoming a clinical psychologist. Being a part of Broadway on Bankhead has been more than just a performance opportunity for her, it’s been a chance to be part of something greater than herself.
Kenneth 'Ken' Hudson (Louis)
Ken is a proud graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, Class of 2025. He loves working on cars and playing video games, and has been active in theater for four years. Theater has carried him through some of life’s toughest moments, giving him “light when things felt dark.” In this show, Ken connects deeply with this character, the Louis, a trumpet-playing alligator with dreams of becoming a human jazz musician. Through this production, he’s learned how to manage his emotions when needed. Ken plans to pursue Aviation Maintenance in the Air Force, and says that Broadway on Bankhead has meant a great deal to him because theatre is what helped him succeed in high school.
Zan Harris (Raymond (Ray))
Zan is a 19-year-old graduate of Frederick Douglass High School (class of 2024). He has been involved in theater for 4 years and fell in love with the stage through the freedom and creativity it offers. In The Frog Prince, Zan takes on the powerful role of Ray, a kind, romantic, and eccentric Cajun firefly who guides Tiana and Prince Naveen through the Louisiana bayou. Zan is a natural mentor and educator who is passionate about guiding young men and supporting youth. He currently teaches Pre-K and is studying elementary education, determined to make a lasting impact through teaching. When asked what being part of Broadway on Bankhead means to him, Zan says, "Simply Family.” And that says it all.
Nia Ross (Mama Odie / Ensemble Dancer)
Nia is a 19-year-old graduate of Frederick Douglass High School (Class of 2024) who brings energy, humor, and heart to the stage. She’s been in theater since the 8th grade and fell in love with performing because it allows her to truly connect with an audience. In The Frog Prince, Nia takes on the role of Mama Odie, a wise, 197-year-old, blind Voodoo priestess who lives deep in the Louisiana swamps in a treehouse boat. When she’s not acting, Nia enjoys cheering, roller skating, and playing video games. Through this production, she’s been learning more about communication and teamwork, and her dream of becoming an actress feels even more real thanks to her journey with Broadway on Bankhead. To Nia, Broadway on Bankhead isn’t just a show, "it mean so much to be because its a family"
Madison Willis (Daddy La Bouff)
Madison is a 15-year-old 10th grader at Maynard Jackson High School. She enjoys drawing in her free time and has discovered a love for self-expression through acting. Though she’s still new to theater, she’s already learned how to share her voice and presence on stage. Madison plays Daddy la Bouff, a wealthy, jovial, and generous New Orleans sugar baron and the father of Charlotte La Bouff; she truly brings this character to life! A hidden talent of Madison’s is singing, and she dreams of becoming either an actor or an artist. To her, being part of Broadway on Bankhead represents “a bright and fun future.”
Zuri Cannida (Tiara (Tiana's Sister))
Zuri is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade at King Springs Elementary. She loves to jump rope, roller skate, dance, do gymnastics, play with friends, and travel. This is her very first year in theater, and she has already learned so much about dancing and acting. Zuri plays, Tiara, Tiana’s sweet and supportive sister. She looks up to Tiana with admiration and excitement about her big dreams! Zuri has a hidden talent for DJing; thanks to lessons from her dad! Her future goals are just as big as her imagination: she wants to be an author, performer, architect, artist, and hairstylist. Being part of Broadway on Bankhead gives her the chance to do what she loves most, which is dance and act!
Sanari Muhammad (Darnell, the Hunter/ Shadow Creature)
Sanari is a 12-year-old 7th grader at Sandtown Middle School. She enjoys drawing, dancing, acting, and playing in her free time. With three years of theater experience, she has learned the importance of collaboration and confidence on stage. Sanari plays both Darnell, a bumbling antagonist that hunt frogs for food and a shadow creature, a henchmen of the sinister voodoo witch doctor, The Shadow Man. Sanari has the unique hidden talent of being ambidextrous; true of only 1% of the planet. She hopes to become either a performer or an artist when she grows up. For her, Broadway on Bankhead feels like family and offers the chance to meet new people who share her love of the arts.
Arianna 'Ari' Adamson (Ensemble Dancer)
Ari is an 11-year-old 6th grader at Coretta Scott King Middle School. She loves to dance, act, draw, make jewelry, and… most of all… EAT! With five years of theater experience, Ari has learned the valuable lesson that being herself is always okay. Ari was recently featured on Ibbi, Local Programming for Youth, where she showcased her talents as a talk show host. Ari has a fun hidden talent of saying “achoo” every time she sneezes, and she’s also proud to be an A+ student. Ari dreams of becoming both a dancer and an actress; hence her footwork as an ensemble dancer in The Frpg Prince. She says Broadway on Bankhead means so much to her because she feels truly loved and cared for here.
Aniyah Maria Royal (Ensemble Dancer)
Maria is a 14-year-old 9th grader at Booker T. Washington High School (AVA). She loves to sing and dance, and while she’s been performing for three years, this is her first month in theater. Already, she has learned to be more comfortable around new people and to speak her mind. Maria takes inspiration from Ariana Grande and hopes to train in ballet and modern dance. Her future dreams include becoming a pop singer and dancer, as well as launching her own makeup and skincare brand. Being part of Broadway on Bankhead has helped her build confidence, find an emotional outlet, and experience the joy of artistic escape.
Ava Carter (Ensemble Dancer)
Ava is 13 years old and an 8th grader at KIPP Atlanta-Woodson Park Academy. She’s been in theater for one year and has enjoyed learning to improve her dance skills. In The Frog Prince, she is proud to perform as an ensemble dancer, where she gets to combine her love of movement with storytelling. Ava is grateful for the friendships she’s made through the theater and is excited to keep growing as both a performer and student. Outside of theater, Ava competes in track and enjoys swimming. She plans to become a lawyer in the future. To Ava, Broadway on Bankhead is simply put, “fun.”
Gia Linsey (Mrs. Harvey Fenner / Ensemble Dancer)
Gia is a 10-year-old 5th grader at Morris Brandon Elementary. Known for her sweet and encouraging spirit, she always lifts up her teammates and friends. In The Frog Prince, Gia performs as an ensemble dancer and also takes on the role of Mrs. Fenner, one of the minor antagonistic real estate agents. A passionate student and dedicated performer, she has loved exploring the stage and growing her skills. Most of all, Gia enjoys the friendships she has made at Broadway on Bankhead and the joy of being part of such a supportive theater family.
Jessi Smith (Ensemble Dancer)
Jessi is 7 years old and a 2nd grader at Bolton Academy who shines with a love of singing. She’s new to theater, but has already discovered the joy of dancing on stage. In The Frog Prince, Jessi performs as an ensemble dancer, bringing her boundless energy and enthusiasm to every rehearsal. Her hidden talent is her strong singing voice, and she dreams of becoming a dancer when she grows up. Known as a ball of energy who loves jumping and bouncing around, Jessi is excited to share her spark with the audience. She loves that Broadway on Bankhead gives her the chance to meet wonderful new people and be part of something magical.
Joi Smith (Lawrence)
Joi is a 10-year-old 5th grader at Bolton Academy. She loves reading, sleeping, and showing her energetic side once you get to know her. Although she has only been in theater for one year, Joi has already taken on the exciting challenge of playing Lawrence, Prince Naveen’s former valet and The Shadow Man’s reluctant minion, in The Frog Prince. She dreams of becoming both a lawyer and a cosmetologist, combining determination with creativity. Being part of Broadway on Bankhead has encouraged Joi to step outside her comfort zone and embrace the fun of performing. She is proud of her growth and excited to share her character with the audience
Ty'tiana Tucker (Betty / Two Fingers / Ensemble Dancer)
Ty’tiana is a 12-year-old 6th grader at KIPP Woodson Park Academy. She loves skating, dancing, TikToks, and theater, which she has studied for two years at her school. In The Frog Prince, she shines as part of the ensemble while also playing several fun roles, including Two Fingers, one of the Hunters, and Betty the Chef. Through this production, she’s learned how to step outside her comfort zone and bring different characters to life. A cheerleader at heart, her hidden talent is leading cheers for different teams. When she grows up, she hopes to help kids discover their own talents. For Ty’tiana, being part of Broadway on Bankhead means finally being part of something special.
Autumn Smith (Ensemble Dancer)
Autumn is 8 years old and a 3rd grader at Smyrna Elementary School. She enjoys swimming and gymnastics and has been involved in theater for just a few months. In The Frog Prince, she performs as an ensemble dancer, where her big smile and sweet personality light up the stage. Through this show, Autumn has learned the power of expressing joy through performance and teamwork. She hopes to one day become a teacher and inspire others with the same kindness she brings to rehearsals. For Autumn, being part of Broadway on Bankhead makes her feel excited, joyful, and proud.
Omera Muhammad (Ensemble Dancer / Mrs. Harvey Fenner (Understudy))
Omera is a 13-year-old 8th grader at Sandtown Middle School. She enjoys crocheting, playing in the band, and gaming. Though she’s only been in theater for a month, she has already learned how to project her voice with confidence and step into character. In The Frog Prince, Omera performs as an ensemble dancer and also serves as the understudy for Mrs. Fenner, one of the minor antagonistic real estate agents. One of her hidden talents is the ability to cry on command, a skill that adds to her dramatic flair. She dreams of becoming an entrepreneur, and Broadway on Bankhead gives her the opportunity to explore her creativity and share her many talents with others.
Princess Harrell (Mrs. Henrietta Fenner / Ensemble Dancer)
Princess is a 10-year-old 5th grader at Harper Archer Elementary. She loves school and has been in theater for three years. In The Frog Prince, she performs both in the ensemble and in the role of Mrs. Fenner, one of the minor antagonistic real estate agents.. Through this production, Princess has developed stronger dance skills while also enjoying her love of football. She’s still deciding what she wants to be when she grows up, but she knows that Broadway on Bankhead makes her feel happy, inspired, and proud to bring characters to life on stage.
