Rodney Loper (Karnak the Amazing)
Rodney Loper (he/him) is a sophomore Theatre Arts Major student with a concentration in Acting/Directing. He previously performed in “Medea” at Bowie State Theatre. He has also worked behind the scenes for Bowie State Theatre as a Stage Hand and Costume Design Assistant for the production “Buy Black: We don’t sell to your kind!" He has a 1 year Acting experience and has studied Stage Management, Film Making, Stage Movement, and Acting.
Lauren Christin (Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg)
Lauren Christin (she/her) is proud to be making her Bowie State theatre debut in “Ride The Cyclone” as Ocean! She is a junior Theatre Arts with an Acting/ Directing concentration at BSU. Last semester she completed an internship with Kennedy Center’s Social Impact department. On stage, she has been in “The Grown Up” (u/s Actor D) and “Small Mouth Sounds” (Female Swing). She is also a theatre educator with MN-CPPC and StarMakers Academy of Dance.
Whitney Watson (Constance Blackwood)
Whitney Watson (she/her) is a junior theater arts major with a concentration in acting/directing. This is her second production at Bowie State and her first musical. Whitney has years of experience in singing, dancing, and acting as well as musical experience playing the piano and the violin. She enjoys performing and connecting with her audience and is grateful for the opportunity to experience a musical with her cast. She hopes you enjoy riding the Cyclone!
Jacobie Thornton (Mischa Bachinski)
Jacobie Thornton (He/Him) is a junior theater major with a concentration in Acting and Directing from Cedar Hill, TX. Credits: Buy Black! We Don’t Sell To Your Kind (Bowie State University, Hurt Village (Soul Rep Theatre), Blood at the Root (Millikin University), and The Wiz (Cedar Hill High School), Someway Somehow (First Baptist of Glenarden). This will be Jacobie’s second production at Bowie State University. He hopes you enjoy this production of Ride the Cyclone!
Camari Ragins (Noel Gruber)
Camari Ragins is a sophomore social work major at Bowie State, and is very excited to be doing this show! HS Theatre credits: High School Musical; Matilda the Musical (Ensemble); Working (Eddie the publicist/Ensemble) and lSister Act (Mother Superior) Camari would like to thank this wonderful cast and crew for being so welcoming, and creating such a fun environment. This is Camari’s first production at Bowie, and hopefully not the last!
Aiden Nash  (Ricky Potts)
Aiden Nash (he/him) is a black queer theater artist. Aiden’s work focuses on visual performances like musical theatre, dance showcases, and instrument performances. He has 12 years of dance training, including jazz, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, and ballet. Queen Harris (Jane Doe)
Queen Harris is a Junior Theatre Arts major at Bowie State University. Ride The Cyclone is her first soprano role. Queen is no stranger to the limelight, with nine years of dance lessons in D.C and a long-time lover of the arts and theatre performance. LaShay Fletcher (Constance Understudy )
LaShay Fletcher (she/her) is a first year acting/directing theatre major. Her training includes concert band, marching band, choir, dance, and theatre. HS Credits: Cinderella (Evil Stepmother); Schoolhouse Rock Live! Junior (Dina); The Odd Couple (Mickey); Fight Over Fuschia (Cara-Sue); All together Now! (Lead Singer); and Murder May I? (Janet). She is excited for Ride the Cyclone to be her first show at Bowie State University. She has had an amazing time with everyone.
Skylar Vincent (Talia; Jane Doe shadow; Ocean Understudy)
Skylar Vincent (she/her) had a love for the arts started at an early age with her first lead role in 1st grade. She attended the Denzel Washington School of the Arts as an acting major throughout middle and high school. HS credits: The Wiz (Munchkin); Lion King, Jr. (Lioness ensemble). Skylar is a theatre arts major with a concentration in acting-directing at Bowie State University.
