Bryanda Minix (she/her)
Bryanda Minix is a multidisciplinary theater artist and educator, connector, cultivator of hope, and fierce advocate towards removing barriers to opportunity. Originally from Houston, Texas, she has been working as an actor, director, playwright, and teaching artist in the DMV since 2016 after graduating from The Theatre Lab's Honors Acting Conservatory. Most recent directing credits include: Nat Turner in Jerusalem (NextStop Theatre); Having Our Say (Creative Cauldron); collaborations with The Theatre Lab's Life Stories Program and the National League for Nursing; Theater Resources Unlimited (New York), and for Honor Roll! in association with the African American Policy Forum’s #SayHerName campaign; and assistant directing Once on This Island (Constellation Theatre Company).

Rashaud Matthews (they/he)
Rashaud (He/They), BSU Grad, is A proud black Non-Binary Theater Artist. Rashaud’s artistic mission is to be the voice for the voiceless. Currently Rashaud is Full-Time Drama Teacher for Prince George’s County Public Schools. Their recent credits include both directorial and performative. Keisha Brown (she/her)
Keisha Brown is a junior Theater Arts major with a concentration in acting-directing and a minor in dance. This is her second BSU theater production. She assisted with Flyin’ West in fall 2022, moving from Stage Crew to Assistant Stage Manager, and continues her position of ASM with Medea. Ms. Brown appreciates this opportunity and hopes to partake in more productions as it prepares her for to eventually branch out to have her own production company.

Devin Nikki Thomas (she/her)
Dr. Devin Nikki Thomas is an actress, writer, and director for screen and stage. An expert at using theatre arts and scripted media to effect positive change in health and social justice, she uses this unique skillset in her work as an adjunct professor at Bowie State University. You can catch Devin on AppleTV's "Sinking Spring", HBO's "We Own This City", MTV's "Revenge Prank", or in Theatre Alliance’s upcoming production of “The Bluest Eye”.

Elena Velasco (she/ella)
Elena Velasco is a theatre artist whose work is grounded in decolonized, consensus-organized processes. An associate member of Stage Directors and Choreographer Society, her credits include Central Square Theatre, Convergence Theatre (Founding Artistic Director), GALA Hispanic, Keegan Theatre, NextStop Theatre, 1st Stage, Young Playwrights’ Theater, Capital Fringe, Source Theatre, and Kennedy Center’s New Visions New Voices. Sound design: Convergence, Synetic, Adventure, Mead Theatre Lab, and DC Fringe. A commissioned playwright and theatre researcher, she has written for Routledge, Intellect Books, and several TYA musicals. She has been a featured speaker for Boston Conservatory at Berklee, George Mason University, and Theatre Washington. MFA in Directing, Catholic University. Kathryn Kawecki (they/she)
Kathryn Kawecki (she/they) is a DMV area theatrical designer and artist with credits regionally and nationally. Area credits include: 1st Stage, Chesapeake Shakespeare), Flying V, Hub Theatre. Regional credits include Ballybeg Theatre, NYC, Creede Rep, CO, Elijah, Faith LOCAL, Boulder; Lyric Stage, Boston, New Rep, Boston. Kayla Granger (she/her)
Kayla Grange is a sophomore at Bowie State University. She is a VCDMA major with a concentration in Fashion Design. She wants to use her fashion designs to tell stories of the clothes she will make to be put in exhibitions, runway shows and in the entertainment industry. Previous Credits: Pipeline (Ensemble), Dreamgirls (Costume Assistant), Flyin West (Costume Assistant).

Marcus Alex Smith (he/him)
Marcus A. Smith is a young artist, producer, disc jockey, as well as a studio and live sound engineer. He originally attended school in San Jose, California where he learned most of the intricate knowledge of sound and refined his knowledge at Bowie State University. Marcus has had several live sound performances as a disc jockey, one being at Santana Row in San Jose, CA. He also has live sound experience for theater plays working with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore and Bowie State University. Marcus also has studio engineer experience working at the Miami, FL studio, AudioVision and at the recording studio at Bowie State University.
