Dr. Truly Austin is a Choreographer, Dancer, Educator, and Scholar. She has taught workshops and set works in collaboration with various artists and institutions throughout Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Japan, and Costa Rica. Dr. Austin received her BFA in Dance Education from East Carolina University, her MFA in Dance from Hollins University, and her PhD in Visual Arts: Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Art Theory at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts. In her free time, Dr. Austin enjoys watching anime, driving muscle cars, and conducting interviews for her podcast "Dance Talk Realness."

Jennifer Dorsey began her dance training in Ellicott City, MD at Kinetics Dance Theatre. She attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and then the Tisch School for the Arts at New York University where she received her B.F.A. in Dance Performance. She also holds an M.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Maryland at College Park. Her choreographic work, Meeting Falling In, was chosen to represent UMCP in the May 2002 National American College Dance Festival at the Kennedy Center. Jennifer is an Assistant Professor of Dance and Theatre in the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Bowie State University. She is Coordinator of the Dance and Movement Studies Concentration under the Theatre Arts Major, as well as the Dance Minor at BSU and co-sponsoring the National Honors Society for Dance Arts. She teaches many courses, including but not limited to: Pilates Fitness, Modern Dance Innovations, Jazz Dance Technique, Choreography, Practicum in Choreography and Performance, Independent Study and Play Production. In her 19 years at BSU, she has choreographed for Ain’t Misbehavin, The Wiz, Grease, Platinum, and As You Like It, and has produced the BSU Dance Concerts and DanceShare annually. Jennifer Dorsey serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit dance organization. Kinetics Dance Theatre. She assists with all three facets of this organization, the Kinetics Dance Theatre School of Dance, The Youth Ensemble, and the professional dance company, Kinetics Dance Company.
