About Tony Feathers and Bug Guts

BSPAC proudly presents these award winning singer-songwriters, who return to our stage after their sold-out show last year!

Tony Feathers was born in the hills of east Tennessee and grew up in Southern California. He lives in Borrego Springs and maintains a home he built on eleven acres near his birthplace. In Tony’s words, “I began playing very bad guitar at age ten. Time and life move forward, stories were born from living, songs were born from stories, guitar improved, and some folks enjoyed listening.” Tony has written over 100 songs, recorded two albums, and has performed at events and festivals, including MerleFest, where he placed third in the national songwriting competition.

Bug Guts
Rosebud and Scott Ireland met in 1987, while fronting two popular San Diego punk bands. One enchanted evening when they jammed together on their acoustic guitars, a magical connection was made… and they decided to go at it together as an acoustic duo. Scott and Rosebud have released over a dozen albums together and have won numerous songwriting awards. As Bug Guts, they've birthed five delightfully diverse albums tastefully blending Alternative, Folk, Punk, Experimental, and Americana genres. With their smooth dense harmonies, mind-tickling lyrics, and intricately dancing acoustic guitars, Bug Guts is known for a deliciously joyous and raucous ride.
