Sophia Aranda* (Queen Isabel)
is a Cuban-Nicaraguan actress and singer, specializing in new works and reimagined classic musicals. Favorite credits include leading roles in The Station (Connelly Theater), Two Pink Lines (NYTF), and The Single Raindrop (The Civilians), as well as Cindy in Fefu and Her Friends and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance. Most recently, she performed in Jesus Christ Superstar at Flat Rock Playhouse. Jordan Allen Bell (Northumberland)
Jordan is making his Boomerang Theatre debut here and is delighted to be doing so. He has many Off-Off-Broadway, indie, and festival theater credits in NYC, most recently in January at the Hudson Theatre Guild performing a new play “I Am the Wolf” by Fred Jay Gordon. He can be found on several HBO Max shows, including Does Murder Sleep and Evil Lives Here, amongst others. Coleman Shu-Tung (Bushy / Scroop / Gardner / Keeper of the Jail)
is a 28 (as of opening!) year old Brooklyn-based actor. He has played the part of Sir Andrew in Bloomsburg Theatre Ensembles' Twelfth Night, The Steward in Judson Theatre’s Murder on the Nile, Snake in Hudson Classical Theatre Company’s School for Scandal, and Caliban in Smoking Mirror’s production of The Tempest. He is excited to make his Boomerang debut as Bushy, Scroop, the Gardener, and the gaoler.
Tarantino Smith* (Thomas Mowbray/Henry Percy)
Tarantino is very excited to make his Boomerang Theatre debut. Boomerang's creative vision has allowed him the opportunity to play these wonderful roles for which he is very grateful. Tarantino has just completed playing two voice-over roles in a series that will be coming out soon. But when not on stage in the park, or channeling characters in a voiceover booth, he can be seen traveling across the country performing in a one-man show based on Richard Wright's classic novel, entitled Black Boy. Tarantino has enjoyed his time working with such an amazingly talented cast and production team!
Shannon Stowe* (The Duchess of York / The Duchess of Glouchester)
Previously appeared as the Courtesan in Boomerang's Comedy of Errors. Other favorite roles include In the Bleak Midwinter by Dorothy Lyman (Off Broadway), Nora (A Doll's House) Kit Kat Girl (Cabaret), Medea (Medea), Pegeen Mike (Playboy of the Western World), Billie Dawn (Born Yesterday). Television: Law & Order SVU (Co-star). MFA in Acting and proud member of AEA and SAG/AFTRA. Shannon is also an accomplished choreographer and professor teaching acting, dance, and movement for actors.
Mark Eugene Vaughn* (John of Gaunt/The Bishop of Carlisle)
Mark is making his Boomerang Theater debut in this production of Richard II. He also played Northumberland in the Hudson Classical Theater production of Richard II. Mark's other recent stage appearances include Triple Play and A Good Death, both with the And Theater Company. The Taming Of The Shrew with the Frog & Peach Theater Company. And Then There Were None, Strangers On A Train, and You Can't Take It With You with The Cranston Spade Theater Company. Still and A Naked Man In His Early 80's with the Ensemble Studio Theater. Recently, Mark costarred on Law and Order: SVU. His past daytime television credits include One Life to Live, Another World, and All My Children. Right now, Mark is featured in three indie films hitting the festival circuit: Above Under Below, Lily, and The Dishwasher. This fall, Mark makes his feature film debut in the thriller Don't Move.
