Baize Buzan (Amy)
Baize Buzan starred in To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway after making her Broadway debut with the original company in 2018. Recent work includes the role of Mary Pat in Aaron Sorkin’s Being the Ricardos, the starring role in the 2021 SXSW Narrative Competition selection Our Father, a critically acclaimed performance in the indie feature Tom of Your Life, and a featured guest role on NBC’s Chicago Fire. Baize has worked regionally with Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Writers Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, Yale Rep, Jackalope Theatre Company, and Smith Street Stage. She is a graduate of Vassar College and the Yale School of Drama.
Amy Crossman (Playwright)
Amy Crossman is an AEA actor, teaching artist, playwright, and sometimes clown. As an actor, she's worked with Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, Boomerang Theatre Company, The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and Chenango River Theatre, among other places. As a teacher, she's taught at HVSF, PSF, Barrington Stage Company, Queens Theatre, Hangar Theatre, and Manhattan Theatre Club, as well as privately. She's studied with a lot of kind and funny people including Judy Gold, Chris Bayes, Karl Bury and Mark H. Dold. She loves Diet Coke, Harry Potter, and therapy. www.amycrossman.com.
Stephanie Machado (Director)
Stephanie Machado is a Brazilian-American director, actor, and educator based in NYC. She holds an MFA in Acting from Yale School of Drama, and a BFA in Acting from SMU. Recent directing credits include The Great Divide at Emerging Artists Theater, Ni Mi Madre at Rattlestick Theater (Assistant Director to Danilo Gambini), Inside The Wild Heart at Group.BR (Assistant Director to Linda Wise), and The Meal: Dramatic Essays on Cannibalism at Yale Cabaret. She has appeared onstage at Portland Stage Company, Repertory Theater of St. Louis, Fiasco Theater, Actors Theater of Louisville, Classic Stage Company, Yale Repertory Theater, McCarter Theater, and Cleveland Playhouse, among others. She is currently an adjunct professor at NYU and AMDA College in NYC, and is an instructor at the Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors. She is a recipient of the Olivier Thorndike Award in Acting from Yale and the Greer Garson Award in Acting from SMU, and is a Jerome L. Greene Fellow.
