Description:  This 6 week class will continue to cover everything you need to know about auditioning for TV and Film. You will be given sides, we will break down the character and find the special points to create a stand out and bookable audition. We will cover audition monologues, sides, cold reads, unions, submissions, self-tapes, agents/managers, comps vs. headshots, resumes, contracts, acting technique overview, audition safety and much more.

For: Ages 10-17

Instructor: Marlo Cohen of Mercury Entertainment

Meet The Instructor:   Marlo can relate to actors, because she has been on both sides of the fence, as an actor and currently working as a Talent Manager with Mercury Entertainment. She will share stories and her experiences through her almost 50 years in the industry. Marlo will show you how to take all the different methods of acting and find yourself in them. You will work on building your acting skills through commercials, and individual feedback. She will show you how to be comfortable and confident, enabling you to make choices out of the box. You will learn to develop a character and stand out in a commercial audition and how to proceed after you booked the job and are on a set.
