is currently a junior at BNI. She is determined to do her best with her first ever opportunity to be the female lead. She has been in previous shows: Little Shop of Horrors as ensemble, She Kills Monsters as Tiamat & Gelatinous Cube and Xanadu as ensemble. If she is not working on set she is a part of the makeup committee or the soundboard operator. Other than being a part of theatre, she is also in band as first chair tuba, girls soccer, and choir as a lead singer. In her personal time she likes to crochet, read, research music, sing, and enjoy the company of her friends and family.
Maisie Wragg (Miss Honey)

In her previous years at BNI, she played Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Euterpe and Young Kira in Xanadu, and the Skeleton Leader in She Kills Monsters. Outside of BNI, she played Duffy in Annie the Musical and Marcie in You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also played keyboard for Highland Performing Arts’ production of School of Rock, and she has been a competitive Irish dancer for 15 years. In her free time, she loves to listen to ATEEZ and Tomorrow X Together, watch dramas, hang out with her family and friends, and play piano. She would like to thank her family, the cast, and crew for being the most supportive people in the world and Mrs. K for everything she does for her students and the drama club.
Catherine Ralphson (Miss. Trunchbull)
Catherine is thrilled and delighted to bring Matilda the Musical to life. She is 15 years old and a freshman at Bishop Noll Institute. This is her first year being involved in Drama Club and her first production at BNI. Before high school, she was in The Wizard of Oz as The Wizard at the Beverly Arts Center and was in Newsies at Mother McAuley High School’s summer production. When she is not involved in a show, she enjoys taking classes and camps at the BAC in Chicago and Munster’s Theater at the Center. Besides theater, she is on the Bishop Noll volleyball team and track team. She is also on the Speech team, is a Campus Ministry Leader, a Student Ambassador, and is a part of Student Council. She is a competitive equestrian and also enjoys ice and roller skating. She loves to listen to music, travel, play with her pets and spend time with her friends. She would like the thank God, her family, and Mrs. K for always supporting her and encouraging her to be the best version of herself. In the wise words of Miss. Trunchbull, she hopes you “maggots” enjoy the show!

She has participated in the musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as a cheerleader, the play She Kills Monsters as Vera, the musical Xanadu! as Aphrodite, the play Eurydice as Eurydice, and the musical Little Shop of Horrors as Skip Snip. Lastly, Iris would also like to thank the following people for endlessly supporting her dreams; Manuel Romero Sr, Rosalinda Pineda, Manuel Romero Jr, Ayanna Wash, Adrianna Alvarez, and most importantly Mrs. K. Without Mrs. K, Iris would have never found her love for the theatre. She taught Iris hundreds of valuable life lessons throughout her four years at Noll, but most importantly, she taught her to unapologetically be herself.
Mathieu Jadrych (Mr. Wormwood)
is very happy to be a part of Matilda! He’s been in previous shows: Xanadu, as an ensemble member; Little Shop of Horrors, as an ensemble member and Patrick Martin; The Play That Goes Wrong, as Charles Haversham/Johnathan. Outside of theatre, Mathieu plays varsity baseball, is a part of National Honor Society, Student Ambassadors, and he is a graduate of distinction. With the utmost appreciation Jara would like to thank her mom for always being so supportive of the time she spends on the plays. To end it off it would be her honor to tell you to simply enjoy the musical!
Taylor Adams (Lavender/Acrobat)
is excited but sad to be apart of her last show here, Matilda. This will be her sixth show she has starred in here at Bishop Noll. It all started in freshman year when she played as one of the cheerleaders in the musical 25th Putnam County Spelling Bee. Then in sophomore year she had her first major role as Terpsichore in the musical Xanadu. During her junior year she was in the fall play Eurydice as Little Stone and Chiffon in the musical Little Shop of Horrors. Lastly she was in her senior year fall play The Play That Goes Wrong as Annie the stage manager. In her spare time, you can find Taylor dancing or singing to music or taking long naps. She is also a board member in drama club as dance captain, a student ambassador, and apart of National Honor Society. Taylor would like to first thank her family for being supportive of her and making sure them come see every show. Next she would like to thank her friends that have been with her through her whole high school theatre experience because without them theatre would not have been this enjoyable all four years. Lastly she would like to thank Mrs. K for seeing the potential in her and encouraging to embrace herself, she would not be who she is without her. Now sit back and enjoy Taylor’s last show, Matilda.
Bradley Dorsey (Escapologist/Big Kid)
is a junior at BNI and he is very excited to be a part of another production with the first being earlier this year in The Play That Goes Wrong where he played one of the Cornley stage crew. Now he is playing the Great Escapologist as well as One of the Big Kids. He is ready to take on a bigger role and is excited to keep learning and growing with his cast mates.
Michael Shanchez (Michael Wormwood)
Looking for a real life cartoon character? Well it doesn’t really matter whether or not you answered yes or no because you found one! Michael is a freshman, new on the chopping block here at Noll. He is extremely thrilled to have made the certain decisions in a certain type of order at the certain right times to have ended up being cast in his debut role as Michael Wormwood in Matilda! A speech and debate kid at heart, Michael has competed in many tournaments in both respective clubs and has competed with the Academic Super Bowl Team for their annual competitions. Michael is a student ambassador at Noll, a member of the NSDA Honor Society, and is a part of the many other clubs offered here, some would say too many in fact… a few of the most notable ones being the BNI Service Club, the Hispanic Student Union, Women’s Empowerment, Robotics Club and of course, Drama Club. The “unhinged gremlin therapist but also strangely sincere, loyal and uplifting motivational speaker” of the group. He’s just happy to be able to tag along for the ride 😁 Big fan of all things jazzy and rock and roll-y, especially Led Zeppelin. Just a dude who works his butt off at school and to make sure his friends are having a good time :). Favorite pastimes include: chilling out with friends, weightlifting, having some heartfelt conversation, and sharing some laughs. Always remember: work hard and play even harder. Enough about Michael though, kick your feet up and enjoy your snacks ‘cause you’re in for a heck of a ride! Special thanks to Mr. Gleason for always having his back during tough times and allowing him to have the opportunity to visit Japan!!

He has been in three past productions: The father in “Eurydice”, Mr. Mushnik in “Little Shop of Horrors, and Robert/Mr. Colleymoore in “The Play that Goes Wrong.” Aside from being an actor in the drama club he is also the Vice President of Bishop Noll Band. Furthermore, he is also a part of the Art Club, Biology Club, and Campus Ministry. In his free time he loves to listen to music and write creative stories. She would also like to appreciate her parents for putting up with all the spoilers and dealing with her schedule. Lastly, she would like to thank everyone involved for making her first show a memorable one. <3
Reggi Rubio (Eric/Little Kid)
is surprised he even got a spot in Matilda. He is 15 and in his freshman year. He said he would never do theater because he thought it was weird and all theater kids were weird. But then Mrs. K approached me and asked, 'Are you auditioning?' and I said yes. I never went the first day, then Mrs. K told me to come the next day. I danced, then forgot about the cast list. When I saw my name next to 'Eric,' I got very excited. On the first day of rehearsal, I fell in love. The drama club is like a family to me, and I now don’t regret my choice. Also, he plays the trumpet. He likes it but can’t remember too many notes. Thank you for reading! YOU BETTER COME TO THE SHOW
Yunalesca Alvarez (Alice/Little Kid)
is proud and excited to be a part of Matilda. She is a freshman at BNI. This is her first time doing anything like this, so she is a bit confused about how she got the role as “Alice”, but she’s happy that she did! This is a big step for her, so she’s nervous about stepping out of her comfort zone. She’s glad that she found people who she can relate to. Besides being in theatre, she is also a member of art club, and plays piano and guitar. When she isn’t listening to music, watching Young Sheldon, or playing video games, you can find her going on walks, laying down with her cats Pumpkin and Eevee, or reading a book. Yuna would like to thank her parents for pushing her to come to BNI, and her sister Aya who pressured her into doing anything and everything. She would also like to thank everyone who has put up with her hectic schedule, and everyone involved in this production. So enjoy this spectacular show!
Andres Torres-Cruz (Clown/Tommy/Little Kid)
