Come aboard the S.S. American as Bishop Loughlin presents Cole Porter’s classic musical. Nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt--the only problem is that Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin, and his sidekick-in-crime Erma. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart. This tap-dancing musical comedy gem has a first-class score that includes such Cole Porter classics as “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “You’re the Top,” and, of course, “Anything Goes.”

Established in 1851, Bishop Loughlin has a long and proud history of academic excellence married to a deep investment in the building of a thoughtful community rooted in Lasallian values. Loughlin's Performing Arts Program has flourished for over four decades, first under the leadership of the great Louis Maffei and now under the affable, steady hands of Everett Wilson. While music, dance, and athletics have been core programs of Bishop Loughlin for years, drama is now on its way to take its rightful place among those ranks.
