Leslie Plaia (Usherette/Magenta)
Leslie Plaia (Usherette/Magenta) is thrilled to return to the BFT in The Rocky Horror Show, having last been on the BFT stage in Rabbit Hole (Izzy) in 2008. Previous directing credits include The Birds, Next Fall, and Alice in Slasherland all at Theatre Downtown. Big thanks to Sam. All my love to Joey, Luca, and Penny Lane. Forward, Ever.
Flap Jack (Brad Majors)
Flap Jack, also Clay Freeman, is a local drag queen. Flap Jack has been in several BFT productions including Who’s Holiday, Seven Santas, and Pageant the Musical. Flap Jack is in the shadow cast of the Rocky Horror Masquerade Ball. They are known nationally as a promoter for the Miss Magic City Comedy Queen pageant as well as for competing on Camp Wannakiki on OUTtv. See more by following @flapjacqueline on Instagram.
Gabby Nieto-Hale (Janet Weiss)
Gabby Nieto-Hale is so excited for her first time on the BFT stage! She was most recently seen in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne) at Tupelo Community Theatre. She received her BFA from the University of Mississippi (Go Rebs!). She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support.
Destiny Clark (The Narrator)
Destiny Clark is a native of St. Clair Co. Destiny enjoys spending time with family and her 6 Huskies.(WHAT AM I THINKING?!!!). She is the current Queen XIV of The Mystic Krewe of Caritas. Her most recent roles include Florence Hudson in Wild Women of Winedale at SCT, Lucy /Emcee at SCT in A (not so) Retro Christmas Variety Show, Dinah in Sweet Delilah Swim Club at SCT and Sissy Hickey at BFT. She wishes to thank Sam(Sharon) for the chance to be back at BFT and is excited to work with this amazing cast.
Jalen Brown (Riff Raff)
Jalen J. Brown is very excited to be back at BFT in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW! He holds his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Montevallo and has been seen onstage all over the Birmingham area. Recent credits include PAGEANT (Miss Bible Belt), Sanctuary City (Henry), Songs for a New World (Man 1). Thanks to Sam and BFT for this dream role!
Flannery Whaley (Columbia)
Flannery is THRILLED to be doing the time warp again (literally) on the BFT stage, after having performed in the role of Janet in Theatre Downtown’s production of The Rocky Horror Show over 10 years ago! Flannery’s most recent performances on the BFT stage were in Clue (Yvette) and Sordid Lives (Bitsy Mae Harling). More recent and favorite productions include The Man Who Came to Dinner (Miss Preen), Steel Magnolias (Annelle), and 9 to 5: The Musical (Roz Keith) at Virginia Samford Theatre. Flannery would like to thank Sam and the entire cast and crew for this ultimate 'mind flip'. Lastly, Flannery dedicates her performances to her niece, and “superhero”, Amelia. Enjoy the late night, double feature, picture show!
Tyree Walker (Frank 'N' Furter)
Tyree Walker is insanely excited to be performing with BFT again, and to be fully expressing his love and passion for theatre with you all. His most recent performance was in Chicken & Biscuits (Kenny Mabry) with Encore Theatre & Gallery. The Crucible (Thomas Putnam) with Theatre Downtown. Significant Others right here at BFT.
Alex Freeman (Rocky)
Alex Freeman is so excited to tackle one of his dream roles with his first production with BFT! Graduating from UA with a degree in Musical Theatre, Alex recently moved to B’ham to manage THREE15 - a cycle/barre/strength studio in Homewood, keeping his passions alive on the podium!
Matthew David Bartholemew Whaley (Eddie / Dr. Scott)
Matt Whaley is simply delighted to be a part of this cast. Recently, Matt was Assistant Director for Boy at BFT, and has also performed in several shows at Virginia Samford Theatre, Theatre Downtown and Birmingham Festival Theatre - notably “The Man Who Came To Dinner”, “Tartuffe”, “Plaza Suite”, “Twelfth Night”, “Next Fall”, and “Sordid Lives”.
Anthony Cucinotta (Phantom/Brad's Understudy)
Anthony Cucinotta is thrilled to be making his BFT debut. He was last seen in the Virginia Samford Theatre's production of Peter Pan (Pirate Ensemble). When not on the stage, Anthony is studying political science and history at the University of Alabama. He would like to thank his family and friends for all their support.
Marlena Elliott (Phanthom/ Janet Understudy)
Marlena Elliott is proud to be back at BFT for another show and is elated to be working with this group of talented artist. Her past credits include "Clean House", "The Crucible", and "A Raisin in the Sun". She would like to give a friendly reminder to never give up on your dreams. Hannah Mallory  (Phantom/ Columbia Understudy )
"Hannah Mallory is an upcoming senior BFA Musical Theatre Major at the University of Montevallo. She is so excited to be in her first production with Birmingham Festival Theatre! Some roles and performances you might have seen her in include: University of Montevallo’s productions of Pippin (Berthe), Punk Rock Girl (Proxi), Rent (Maureen),Cayuga Canal Girls (Marianne), as well as some NYC Cabaret performances with the Amy Murphy Studio! Coleman Braddock  (Phantom/ Dr. Scott-Eddie Understudy )
This is Coleman’s first performance at BFT and is excited to be a part of the Rocky Horror Show. As this is his first time being in a musical, he has been involved in theatre both in high school and college. He has been classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Charlie) and Peter Pan (Capt. Hook) and others like The Pillowman (Father).
Abigail Cheek (Phantom )
"Abigail Cheek is ecstatic to return to acting after a break of 4 years. She has such a love for Rocky Horror that it seemed the perfect show to get back into it with. She was previously in a variety of shows such as Shrek the Musical, The Addams Family, and Les Miserables.
Romeo Garrison (Phantom)
Romeo Garrison has been thrilled to work with the folks at BFT. He is a University of Montevallo student about to start his final year as an artist who refuses to be boxed in. Recent productions he's participated in while in school include Twelfth Night (Feste) and Tartuffe (Laurent).
