High School Musical Cast

Ryan Zoanni (Troy Bolton)
My name is Ryan Zoanni. I’m a senior this year, and I am very involved in the music program here at West High. I would like to thank Mr. Green, Mr. Patton, Mrs. Hoover, Mrs. Sharbano, and Ms. Nurre. All of these teachers have helped me to reach my potential. I would also like to thank my mom and my dad for always being there for me and never holding me back.
Kendall Barrie (Gabriella Montez)
I am a senior and have been involved in choir and theater from a young age, at church, Billings Studio Theater, and West High. My parents are the absolute best, and I want to thank them for their never-ending support over the years. I also want to thank both Mr. Green and Ms. Nurre for teaching me so much and devoting so much time and energy to this show. This fall I plan to attend Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia where I hope to study Marketing, with a minor in Music.
Brynn Barriger (Sharpay Evans)
Hey my name is Brynn and I will be playing Sharpay in the musical this year! From growing up watching high school musical and being the ultimate fan, this feels like a dream come true! I have been a dancer for 14 years, and although I won’t be continuing in college, this opportunity feels like the perfect way to send off my senior year! I am so excited to get to end my senior year performing with great friends and putting on an amazing show!
Brady Dannenberg (Ryan Evans)
Hi! I’m Brady! I am playing Ryan in this year’s musical, and I have never been more excited. This is my fourth year in West High’s Drama Club, and I cannot wait to share this wonderful experience with my closest friends as my last high school performance. Alongside High School Musical, you can catch me in an improv troupe called Funky Bunch that performs the first Friday each month, multiple choirs at West, and replacing the need for food with caffeine at any local coffee shop.
Mikayla Bullman (Kelsi Nielsen)
I am a senior, and I have been in music pretty much my entire life. I play the violin in the West High Philharmonic Orchestea and sing in Meistersingers, and I even used to play the piano, however unlike my character Kelsi, I do not possess the piano skills nor the patience to master such craft! I would like to thank Ms. Nurre, Mr. Green, the entire cast, my family and friends! Being in High School Musical is a literal dream, and I can’t wait for the show to be seen!
Aubree Holloway (Martha Cox)
I am a junior and they definitely weren’t kidding when they said that this year would be the hardest! I wasn’t a big fan of high school musical before, but doing this play changed my whole perspective on the musical! I loved getting close to all these talented and musical people! New friendships were made with lifelong memories! With Nurre as the director made it even more fun and her excitement for this musical inspired and energized everyone in it! I like to throw a huge thanks to my sister Isabelle because without her I wouldn’t have gotten all of the 10+ songs downs or learned the hip hop moves I needed for my character!
Chase Linde (Chad Danenworth)
Chase prides himself in hard work and hopes to be at least 18 years old one day. He’s been in other west high shows such as Electra and Once Upon A Mattress. Outside of musical theatre, Chase enjoys playing trombone in Symphonic Band and singing in meistersingers and westwinds. When he’s not doing music, Chase prides himself in his ability to waste time doing meaningless things as the days, months, and years go by not knowing of the great magnitude of the inevitable heat death of the universe. He also enjoys cooking.
Dustin Sanders (Zeke Baylor)
I am a senior and have been in choir for 3 years although I have been singing all of my life. My family has always encouraged my musical background and I can't thank them enough for that. Outside of my family I would like to thank all of my friends in Meistersingers that kept begging me to try out and I would also like to thank Mr. Green and Ms. Nurre for helping me musically and for showing me how much fun musical theater truly is. I couldn't ask for a better group of friends to be sharing these memories with!
Hadi Masood (Coach Bolton)
Hello, my name is Hadi Masood. I am a Freshman at Billings West High School. I have had experience with other plays in my youth, and as of my participation at West High, I had participated in the previous production this year which was Sophocles’s “Electra”. I have played the violin for nine years and have sung in choirs throughout elementary and middle school. Other than that my hobbies include reading and listening to jazz. I’d like to thank my mother being encouraging and I’d also like to thank my grandfather for inspiring me to do my best.
Amanda Steele (Mrs. Darbus)
Amanda Steele is a junior and has been in all but 1 play at West since her freshman year. She has been in other performances, like Gulliver's Travels, at Nova and Backyard Theatre. This is her second musical, and she is excited to see it mature into an amazing production.
