Hadestown: The Musical has been running on Broadway since 2019, and has been a hit ever since. Written by Anaïs Mitchell in her hometown of Vermont, the show went from a small interpretive musical to traveling across the country and then onto the big stage in New York. A rocking combination of soul, jazz, & folk music back up distinct vocals and an engaging story, coming together to produce a skillfully woven story. 

Now, Hadestown: Teen Edition is presented by Arrangement with Concord Theatricals Corp. (www.concordtheatricals.com) We tell a gripping, loving, and classic tale of Orpheus & Eurydice, two young mortals managing to fall in love in a desolate and unforgiving climate. We follow this ancient Greek myth, accompanied by a live student band and a talented Greek chorus, as they're faced with some of the most difficult choices they'll ever make.The story confronts the truths of industrialism, poverty, relationships, and the ever-repeating tragedy- It may be a sad song, but we’re going to sing it again.
 

We produce everything from shining musicals and plays to sleek dance productions from both our regular & Afro-Haitian dance programs. The theater hosts student talent shows, the annual Our Monologues performance, Band, Jazz, & Orchestra concerts, and student film festivals. Our incredibly talented Visual & Performing Arts staff and students are excited to show you what they've been working on!
