Director/ Music director/ Choreographer
Alura RazzaMs. Razza is in her second full year of teaching at Beacon and couldn't be happier to have found her home here! Ms. Razza studied musical theatre education at Rhode Island College and musical theatre performance at Pepperdine University. She has been teaching voice and theatre for 18 years, as well as audition preparation, improvisation, musical theatre choreography and character development. In addition, she has been performing on stage and in front of the camera professionally for over twenty years. She wants to thank her incredibly supportive family for putting up with her crazy hours, and extend a special thank you to her executive team, Ms. Armstrong and Jamie, because without them, none of this would have been possible!

Producer/ Set Design and Construction
Karah ArmstrongMs. Armstrong is a recently discovered theatre kid! She teaches science here at Beacon, but has devoted her afternoons and evenings building sets and making Ms. Razza's vision come true. Ms. Armstrong is excited to experience a world where musicals happen in real life and all the world is a stage!

Tech Director
Michael MartinsMichael Martins is a graduate of the 2008 Class of Beacon Charter High School and of the 2012 Class of Rhode Island College where he received a Degree in History and Theater. He has participated in shows with several companies across the state of Rhode Island and has worked in several school systems across the state. He is currently settling into his first year at Founders Academy as a School Social Studies Teacher and head of the school’s after-school theater program. He is happy and excited to be back at Beacon working with Ms. Razza and the BTW crew on their current production.

Assistant Director/ Stage Manager
Jamie BrannonJamie Brannon is a senior at Beacon Charter high school for the arts. She is excited to take a step off the stage and experience theater from a different perspective. Jamie has previously been seen as Tilly in “She Kills Monsters,” the cook in “CLUE On Stage,” as well as Laze in “Time Freaks.” She has also performed in “Seussical” as a bird girl at Rise Playhouse. She has also been in “Frozen” as Oken, Cogsworth in “Beauty and the Beast,” and Nala in “The Lion King” with Gcole productions. When not performing, Jamie is a spoken word poet who has won several spoken word competitions and is a published author of a poetry book on amazon called “Midnight Won’t Last.” Jamie would like to give her dad a shoutout for always supporting her dreams as well as Ms. Razza for giving her the opportunity to learn about her new found interest in directing as well as cultivating her creativity and allowing her creative freedom. She also wants to extend a HUGE shoutout to Ahlyha for coming into her life, becoming her other half and making her senior year better than she could have ever imagined!

Katie RobinsonKatie is a freshman, but by no means new to Beacon Theatre. Before even entering high school, Katie was a part of four different Beacon productions, including last year's "CLUE! On Stage" and "Time Freaks." Katie loves designing garments and dresses, as well as drawing and painting, and spending time with her cats and dogs. She would like to extend a huge thank you to Jasper, Chase and Khloe!

Alyssa ArpinAlyssa is a freshman visual student at Beacon Charter and super excited to be helping Katie make all of the actors look amazing on stage!

Lead Build/ Teach Crew
Micah St. OngeMicah is a sophomore at Beacon charter high school. He has been working with Armstrong and Kiara to make Razza’s vision into reality. This is his first production and he is excited to continue to support the theatre department and all their creative endeavors.

Assistant Music Director/ Build Crew
Casey BromageCasey is a junior at Beacon Charter.
Previously, Casey took part in our production of "Time Freaks" here at Beacon.
He has also appeared in other production such as play Horton in "Seussical the Musical" with When I Grow Up Theatre, Shrek the Musical with Swamp Meadow Theatre, Mary Poppins at John F. Deering Middle School, and The Wizard of Oz at Westwood YMCA in Coventry. In his free time, Casey enjoys writing and performing music, as well as performing on stage. He also enjoys watching arthouse films and reading foreign literature.
He'd like to thank his parents for their continued support!

Kiara CanterburyKiara is a 10th grade honor student at beacon charter high school. This show, she has worked very hard with Ms. Armstrong and Micah to create flawless sets for the crew and audiences to enjoy. Kiara is excited to continue working with the theater department and to help make future sets come to life.

Tech Crew
Grace TogherGrace is a tenth grader and new to Beacon. She has never worked in a technical theatre position before, but she did play the title role in Peter Pan! During the Halloween season, Grace also joins cast members Juliana and Dorothy at "Thirteenth World," as a scare actor and make-up artist.
