About SENIOR NIGHT LIVE
Bayou is bringing one of our old traditions of a SENIOR SKIT NIGHT back. The 2023-2024 Seniors named the skit SENIOR NIGHT LIVE (S.N.L). This will be an entertaining experience that they will hold dear to them forever. Please join us as we celebrate our Seniors in one of their last events at Bayou Academy.

At Bayou Academy we make it a priority to offer our students as many opportunities as possible for an enjoyable and successful education. As you have noticed, we are placing an emphasis on the arts here at Bayou and we recognize the need for theater.
We are excited to announce SENIOR SKIT IS BACK. We hope you will be able to join us for our seniors performance, which will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at the Bologna Performing Arts Center.
Drama is a fun but also an essential addition to add to our school curriculum. Here are just a few of the things that plays do:
Improve speaking and presentation skills
Increases creativity and divergent thinking
Build new friendships and classroom camaraderie and teamwork
Include EVERY student, regardless of academic ability or language fluency
Build confidence and social skills
Motivate students and encourage good behavior while building self- esteem
Give students a sense of ownership and pride
Understanding viewpoints that aren’t their own by challenging them to open their minds
Gives students a safe environment to experiment and take risks.
We know our students will truly enjoy this experience and grow from the entire process. BA Adminstrators and Staff are excited for you to see this skit our SENIORS have worked hard on!
