John M. (Seymour)
is in his 5th production with Bayless Theatre Company and is excited to be back! Some of his favorite roles include Fester in The Addams Family and a Wickersham brother in Seussical. In addition to theater, John also participates in the Artist in Training Program at The Opera Theater of St. Louis. John’s hobbies include singing, writing, and playing the piano. John would like to thank his friends and family for supporting him throughout this whole process. Enjoy the show!
Ava E. (Audrey)
is in her 14th and final production with Bayless Theatre Company. Some of her favorite roles at BTC include Logainne in Spelling Bee, Annie in Annie, and Alice in The Addams Family. Outside of Bayless, Ava is active at Gateway Center for Performing Arts, most recently starring in bare: a pop opera as Ivy. Ava will be attending Webster University next fall to study Vocal Music Education. She would like to give a special thanks to every single person involved in Bayless theater, especially Mrs. Glass, for changing her life these past 7 years. Enjoy the show!
Ahmed A. (Orin)
is in his first year and fourth production with the Bayless Theatre Company. Ahmed has also played Mr. Boddy in Clue. Outside of theater, Ahmed is a member of the Bayless Bands and is one of the two brass section leaders in the band. Ahmed also dabbles in video and music making. He would like to thank his friends and family for always being there for him and always supporting him. He hopes you enjoy the show.
Ashling P. (Mushnik)
is in 10th grade, and is a part of the Bayless Chorale and Color/Winter Guard. This is her 8th production with Bayless, and this is her favorite show she has been in. She wants to thank her friends and family, and her fellow cast, crew, and pit for making this show the best it can be. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Izzy K. (Voice of Audrey II)
is in her 14th and final show with the Bayless Theater Company. Her favorite roles have been Morticia Addams in The Addams Family and Mrs. White in Clue. Beyond theater, Izzy is also softball team captain, National Honor Society president, Drum Major of the Bayless Marching Bronchos, and a College Now Student. Izzy plans to study engineering in the fall. She has had an amazing past 7 years with the company and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow. Enjoy this amazing show!
Marissa K. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is in her seventh and final year with the Bayless Theatre Company. This is her 12th show with BTC. Her favorite roles include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Miss Scarlet in Clue. Outside of theatre, Marissa is involved in band, NHS, and is a student at STLCC. Marissa plans to attend Lindenwood University in the fall to study Broadcast and Media Productions. She would like to thank all of the directors for a wonderful 7 years in theatre. Enjoy the show!
Selma J. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is in her 6th year of theater with Bayless Theatre Company. She has been involved in about 10 productions so far. Outside of theater, she is a busy girl with lots of other activities. She is an alternate alto for the 2024 Missouri All-State Choir, a member of the All-Suburban Choir, and has been a part of Des Lee, competing in the MSHSAA State Solo and Ensemble Festivals, FBLA, 3 sports, TSA, and NHS. She decided to take a break this spring to focus on the musical since the role she is playing requires some work. She has had fun with this production and can’t wait for people to come see our hard work. Thank you to all the people involved and for putting their time into us! Don’t feed the plants and enjoy the show!
Lejla T. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is in her 12th and final production with Bayless Theatre Company. Her favorite roles include Professor Plum in Clue and Lily St. Regis in Annie. Besides theater, Lejla participates in choir, chorale and the Navy Seals Ensemble, Scholar Bowl, and tennis. Lejla plans to attend Saint Louis University next fall to study medical laboratory sciences with a goal of becoming a pathologist. She would like to thank anyone who made this show possible and for the amazing opportunities she has been presented with throughout her time with BTC. Enjoy the show!
Vivien D. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is in her 4th year with BTC, and is participating in her 8th show. The freshman’s favorite role and show so far has been Grandma Addams in The Addams Family. She’d like to thank anybody involved in making this show a success. She hopes you all enjoy the show!
Amber T. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is excited to be a part of her 6th musical with Bayless Theatre Company this year. She has previously been cast in BTC’s productions of The Addams Family, Annie, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Seussical, and Cinderella. Apart from theatre, Amber also is involved in many clubs and organizations at Bayless High School including: the Navy Seals choir, Student Council, National Honors Society, HOSA, the Bronchettes Dance team, the Tennis team, and colorguard. Being a Doo-Wop Girl has been a taxing but rewarding role for Amber as she has had to balance her other activities while simultaneously learning the music and teaching the choreography for this show. Fortunately, she has had the help of her wonderful directors and the support of her cast to aid her along the way. Nonetheless, Amber hopes that you enjoy the craziness and chaos of BTC’s Little Shop of Horrors and that you do not fall victim to Audrey II!
Emma J. (Doo-Wop Girl)
is in her 6th and final year with the Bayless Theater Company. She has been involved with the company by performing and being in the crew. Some of her favorite roles include Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Regina in the play Paper or Plastic. Emma has been involved with Onstage Collective performing with them two summers in a row. With this company she was able to perform in New York at 54 Below which is often called Broadway’s living room. Outside of theater you can often find Emma reading, napping, baking or spending quality time with her friends and family. Emma will be attending STLCC next school year where she will participate in their nursing program and eventually earn her RN. Emma wants to say a huge thank you to all of the arts teachers for taking so much time outside of school to help them with this show! Enjoy the show and don’t feed the plants! (no matter how hungry they are!)
Ava W. (Audrey II Puppeteer - Act 1)
is in her 14th and final production with Bayless Theatre Co, and her 4th year as Stage Manager. Her favorite musical she has been part of is Spelling Bee and her favorite play has been The Curious Savage. She thanks the cast, crew, pit, and directors for making this an amazing last show.
Savannah K. (Audrey II Puppeteer - Act 2)
is in her 15th and sadly last performance with BTC. She has had the opportunity to work with such amazing people and she will really miss each and everyone of them. Savannah has been part of Wizard of Oz, Awesome 80’s Prom, Cinderella, The Curious Savage, Seussical, Thurber Carnival, Cut, How to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Paper or Plastic, Annie, The Addams Family, Tracks, Clue, and finally Little Shop of Horrors. Savannah has done a little bit of everything–costumes, hair and makeup, assistant directing, and acting on the stage. This year she is doing hair and makeup, playing bass clarinet in the pit, and she will be on the stage puppeteering Audrey II. Savannah would love to thank her family and friends for being her support system and supporting her through everything.
Irma S. (Bernstein)
is in her comeback show as she decided to take a break from theater in the seventh grade during COVID. She decided to come back into theater again simply because she missed it and thought it would be fun to act again with her friends. Along with theater, she is involved in many clubs at Bayless including volleyball, STUCO, dance, and TSA. Irma would like to thank her family, friends, and BTC for giving her this opportunity! Lydia D. (Luce)
is in their senior year, and is the captain of the 2 time national qualifying Bayless Scholar Bowl team. This is their 8th and final production with BTC, previously starring as Wadsworth in Clue, Old Man in Tracks, Flapper Ancestor in The Addams Family, Tabloid Woman in Paper or Plastic, Frances Perkins in Annie, and Nicole in Selfie. They would like to thank their friends and family for supporting them throughout their theater career, as well as their fellow cast, crew, pit, and directors for believing in them through these 4 years at Bayless. They hope you enjoy the show!
Saury D. (Skip Snip)
is a senior this year and part of many extracurriculars here at Bayless. They have been a part of BTC since the sixth grade making this their 7th and final year. The same goes for them being in band and being the section leader of the trumpets. They have also played softball since 5th grade, but have been a part of the Bayless softball team since freshman year. They are also the manager of the Scholar Bowl team at Bayless. Their favorite roles have to be Hannah from The Curious Savage in their 7th-grade year and Lucas in The Addams Family last year. They would like to thank their family and friends for helping them make it this far in their theater career. They hope that you will enjoy and love the show just as much as they did getting to be a part of it.
Deja P. (Skid Row Resident)
is experiencing her first year in BTC. She has participated in dance, band, choir, colorguard, winterguard, tennis, TSA, HOSA, and Navy Seals, and is excited to be a part of the theater team as well. Elmedin K. (Customer)
is in his Sophomore year at BTC, having played the Cop and Motorist in Clue, and Mal Beineke in The Addams Family. Elmedin is also the Assistant Captain of the two-time national qualifying Bayless Scholar Bowl Team, which is nationally ranked. He is also an elected member of Student Council, a state-qualifying member of HOSA, and a member of Library Club. Elmedin would like to thank his friends (especially Seniors) for the theatre experience they have given him; as well as other cast members, crew, and pit for putting on this show.
Fariman A. (Skid Row Resident)
is in 7th grade and is in her 4th production with BTC. This is her very first musical and she is very excited to perform. Other than theater she participates in StuCo, Broncho Buddies, and Library Club. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her. Thank you and enjoy the show!
Melanie C. (Skid Row Resident)
is in 6th grade and this is her 2nd production with Bayless Theater Company. Little Shop of Horrors is the first musical that she has done. She is very excited to perform. She has had a really great time so far in BTC, and hopes to continue that joy. She really wants to thank her parents for all of the sacrifices and support that they have given her.
Dylan V. (Patrick Martin)
is a Freshman in his 7th production with the BTC, his favorite role has been Pugsley in The Addams Family. Outside of the BTC he is in marching band along with tennis. He would like to thank everyone who has supported him through the years and hopes you enjoy the show!
