Bright Star Cast

Ainsley Jones (Margo Crawford) is thrilled to be playing Margo in this production! A freshman at Batesburg-Leesville High School, Ainsley has previously appeared as Dory in Finding Nemo, Jessie in Toy Story, Teen Fiona in Shrek the Musical, and Dean Hardscrabble in Monsters Inc.. She’s passionate about performing and always excited to bring characters to life on stage. Ainsley would like to thank her directors, cast mates, and family for their support!

Kai Trotter (Max/Ensemble) is a 7th grade student at Batesburg-Leesville Middle School. Kai is classically trained on the piano and also enjoys running cross country and playing the trumpet, soccer, and baseball. Kai was last seen as Papa Ogre and a Duloc Guard in Shrek and as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Jr. One day, Kai aspires to be a veterinarian. Kai would like to thank his family, friends, Ms. Munnerlyn, Ms. Higgins and all who made Bright Star possible.
