Disney's The Little Mermaid Cast
Maria Flor Aidukaitis (Ensemble)Maria Flor is a 3rd grade student at Barnstable Community Innovation School and she is so excited to be back on stage with the BHSDC. The Little Mermaid will be her second production with the drama club after making her BHSDC debut in Newsies last March. When not on the stage with BHSDC, Maria Flor is on stage learning at the Cape Cod Theater Company because this is what she loves to do. Maria Flor would like to thank everyone for coming to see the show, and a special thank you to the amazing cast and crew and Mrs. Barth!

Tristen Alper (Windward - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Tristen Alper is a 6th grader at Barnstable Intermediate School. This is his second show with the BHSDC. He’s excited to play Windward(Sea Cast) and be part of the ensemble. Tristen was Tommy Lavender in Matilda at CCftA , Mike TeeVee in Willy Wonka at FTG , and The Artful Dodger in Oliver at APA. Nicholas Barth (Crew - Backstage Run Crew)Nicholas is a sixth grade student at Barnstable Intermediate School and The Little Mermaid will be his fourth production with the BHSDC. Previous credits include: Young Shrek and Grumpy in Shrek the Musical, Michael Banks in Mary Poppins and last year he worked stage crew for Newsies. When not on stage, Nicholas enjoys playing basketball, baseball and golf. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Matthew Brancaccio (Scutttle - Ocean Cast, Featured Dancer & Ensemble)Matthew is a junior at Barnstable High School and this is his seventh BHSDC production. He most recently was Kevin G in Mean Girls as well as Race in Newsies. He is so excited to have you see all of the hard work he and the cast has put into this show.
Parker Brander (Ensemble)Parker is a second grade student at West Villages Elementary School. The Little Mermaid is his first time in a musical and he is so excited to have his family and friends see him perform. Parker has enjoyed the singing and dancing at rehearsals and has loved making new friends!
Eliza Bundschuh (Maid 3 & Ensemble)Eliza is a freshman at Barnstable High School in her second year with the BHSDC. She is currently the drama club treasurer and secretary of the freshman class. When not participating in drama club, she enjoys volunteering and working on learning Spanish. Eliza is excited for The Little Mermaid this year!
Alayea Byrd (Ensemble)Alayea is a 7 year old 2nd grade student at Hyannis West Elementary. Alayea enjoys dancing and singing. She spends her weekends in tap and jazz and also participates in a creative movement and acting class.
Brandon Byrd (Ensemble)Brandon is a 5th grade educator at Barnstable United Elementary. In an effort to be an active participant in the lives of his students, you can find Brandon at extracurricular events of his current and former students. Brandon's previous theatre credits include Three Little Birds at Cape Cod Theatre Company as well Santa Clause in a Christmas Story.
Keith Caldwell (Grimsby - Sea Cast)Keith Caldwell (Grimsby) taught English and Drama & Theatre Arts here at BHS for 30 years before retiring in 2024. He has enjoyed the privilege of performing on the BHS stage both as a student and as a faculty member, most recently as Joseph Pulitzer in last year’s Newsies, Admiral Boom in Mary Poppins, King Harold and Knight 1 in Shrek, and Moonface Martin in Anything Goes. Mr. Caldwell was an assistant director for BHSDC musicals Godspell, She Loves Me, and Pippin. In addition to helping with the BHSDC, Mr. Caldwell is the head girls spring track & field coach. He is absolutely delighted to be working with this amazingly talented cast, crew, and production team, especially former students and colleagues, Mrs. Barth and Mrs. Styche!
Triniece Clegg (Ursula - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Triniece Clegg is an eighteen-year-old senior at Barnstable High School. She plays the role of Ursula the Sea Witch in the BHSDC production of The Little Mermaid. She is also one of the Vice Presidents for the BHSDC. Triniece’s hobbies include singing, reading, cooking with her family, and watching movies/shows with her mom. This show will be Triniece’s 5th performance! In order of least recent to most, she’s played Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins, Madame Lugosi in A-Haunting We Will Go, Miss Medda Larkin in Newsies, Gretchen Wieners in Mean Girls, and now Ursula! Being able to play Ursula has always been a dream of Triniece’s. Now that she finally gets to play the role, she is so happy and excited to put on a show for everyone to see. The BHS Drama Club is a beautiful place to be. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive, and Triniece couldn’t have been more grateful to be a part of it. This will be her last show before she leaves for college, and while she’s sad to go, she is happy about the opportunities she had.
Alivia Cotell (Ensemble)This is Alivia’s second musical, but her first time of being apart of the BHSDC. She is currently and 7th grade student at Barnstable Intermediate School and excited to be apart of this prodcution of The Little Mermaid. Theatre and Drama have been a great part of her personality and she is excited to continue.
Isabella Rose Crawley (Ensemble)Isabella is an 8th grader at Barnstable High School. This is her second show at Barnstable High School and she loves being in drama club and her high school theater. This fall she appeared in Mean Girls and she is so excited to be in The Little Mermaid. In seventh grade she performed in Honk Jr. at Barnstable Intermediate School and Gypsy Lee Rose at Cape Cod Theatre Company.
Lylah Crawley (Flounder - Sea Cast, Featured Dancer & Ensemble)Lylah is a 17 year old junior at Barnstable High School. This is her third BHS drama club production and she’s extremely excited to make Flounder her own. In the past she was Jane Banks in Mary Poppins and a little pig in Shrek the Musical. This coming spring she will be in Gypsy as Dainty June at the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans. Lylah is also a multi sport athlete who decided to step out of her comfort zone in 8th grade. She is part of the Barnstable High School gymnastics, cheer, and track teams.
Izabela de Assis (Flotsam - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Izabela is a 16 year old sophomore here at Barnstable High School. She has been a part of the club since 7th grade, and has been in many other productions, such as Shrek, Mary Poppins, and Mean Girls. While she spent a year away at DY, she's happier than ever being back and in the show! Izabela spends her time listening to music, playing piano, hanging out with friends, and watching Lifetime movies.
Delilah DeYoung (Ursula - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)Delilah is a 17 year old junior at Barnstable High School, and this is her sixth show with the BHSDC, as well as her fourth year with the club!! In the past, she has played The Fairy Godmother in Shrek, Leaf’s Mother in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Bird Woman in Mary Poppins, Sniper in Newsies, and Dawn Schweitzer in Mean Girls. Delilah has been singing for ten years, and has sung with the Cape Cod Conservatory in the past, as well as participated in other theatre workshops. In her free time, she likes to read, write, and bake. This is Delilah's first lead role, and she is beyond excited and grateful for the opportunity. She'd like to thank everybody in the drama club for working together to make this show possible, as well as her family, friends, and her best friend Keely, whom she is incredibly excited to share the stage with!! She hopes you all enjoy watching the show as much as she does performing!!
Livia Dos Santos (Maid & Ensemble)Livia is an eighth grader this year and it’s her first year in BHSDC. She is a very hardworking student and is excited to demonstrate all the work she put in The Little Mermaid. She enjoys dancing and singing, and if you don’t see her singing everywhere then you know something is wrong. When she isn’t at rehearsals, she’s at home either reading or writing.

Kathryn Field (Ensemble)Kathryn is a 12 year old 7th grader at BIS. While this is her first BHSDC show, Kathryn has prior theater experience with BIS Drama Club as well as HJT. She loves swimming, singing, theater, and spending time with friends and family.
Charlottle Finnemore (Ensemble)Charlotte Finnemore is a 4th grader at Barnstable United Elementary School. This is her second show with the BHSDC, after her debut in Newsies last year. She loves singing and dancing on the stage, but enjoys all forms of art. Char sews regularly, taking classes at the Harwich Cultural Arts Center. She enjoys reading, writing, playing sports, and cats. She would like to thank her parents, Luna, and you for coming to the show!
Taylor Foley (Aquata & Princess 2)Taylor Foley is a 17-year-old senior at Barnstable High School and a recent transfer student. She will be playing the role of the mersister Aquata as well as Princess #2 in both the Ocean and Sea Cast. Her previous shows include Mean Girls: The Musical as Taylor Wedell at her previous High School, as well as Barnstable’s own fall production of Mean Girls: The Musical as Cady Heron. When Taylor isn’t preparing for performances, you’ll find her in art class, hanging out with her friends, singing, or playing guitar and piano. In addition to her love of theatre, Taylor is passionate about art and music, and has been a part of a choir since the first grade. She is part of the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and recently cheered her final football game in the fall as a Barnstable High School Cheerleader. Taylor wants to thank the BHSDC members for welcoming her with open arms, and to all of the directors and music department staff for giving her such wonderful opportunities her first year at Barnstable, and last year of high school. Taylor plans to attend the college of her choice to pursue a major in business in the fall.
Lisa J Fournier-Donley (Pit Musician - Reed 3)Lisa a proud graduate of Barnstable High School. Lisa has been a music educator for 37 years. Within those years she has served as president of the Cape Cod and the Islands Music Educators Association for at least 20 years. Lisa is a 6 time nominee for the Grammy Music Educator of the Year, and is currently waiting to hear regarding her double nomination this year. Lisa resides in Centerville with her husband, and her son. She is thrilled to be "Part of your World."
Ella Froeschner (Ensemble)Ella is a ten-year-old fourth grader at Barnstable United Elementary School and loves theatre. She is so excited to be in her first show with the BHSDC! Previous roles include Amanda Thripp in “Matilda” (CCftA) And Jeremy Jacobs Understudy in “How I Became A Pirate” (HJT). In her spare time she enjoys singing, hanging out with her friends, drumming, and cuddling with her cats. She has been taking theater classes at Harwich Junior Theater since she was five. Ella is so thrilled to work with such a devoted cast and crew. She would like to thank everyone who has been supporting her in her time acting.
Crew - Assistant Stage Manager (Avery Fuqua)This will be the second BHSDC show Avery has helped with, and his first time as the Assistant Stage Manager! Avery's hobbies are music, writing, and playing with his band! He is honored to be a part of BHSDC this year, and excited to see the show become a success!
Elizabeth Gayton (Crew - Lighting/Projector)Elizabeth is a sophomore here at Barnstable High School and this is her fourth year with the BHSDC. In past shows she has played Caroline Krafft in “Mean Girls”, Ike in “Newsies”, ensemble in “Mary Poppins”, and a Duloc performer in “Shrek: The Musical”. Elizabeth has also done stage crew for “A Haunting We Will Go”. Elizabeth’s love for theater started when she attended The Hudson Valley Conservatory in elementary school. She has always had a love for music and plays the flute and piccolo in the BHS Band. Elizabeth is so excited for this show and she hopes you enjoy The Little Mermaid!
Gianna Giacobbi (Ensemble)Gianna is a 9 year old 3rd grade in Barnstable. The Little Mermaid is her acting debut for the BHSDC and she is very excited to be on stage. Gianna has always been interested in singing, dancing, and acting. Gianna is looking forward to many more productions with the BHSDC. She would like to thank everyone for coming out and showing their support.
Audrey Gonzalez (Crew - Head Stage Manager)Audrey is a junior at BHS and this is her fourth year with the BHSDC. Previously, she has been involved in Shrek: The Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins, A Haunting We Will Go, Newsies, and Mean Girls. Audrey adores her job as stage manager and she knows you’ll love seeing all the hard work the cast and crew has put into The Little Mermaid!
Morgan Grey (Pit Musician - Reed 2 (Oboe))This is Ms. Grey’s seventh BHSDC production, and she is thrilled to be back in the pit full time for this show, and playing her primary instrument! Ms. Grey was raised by actors and appeared on stage in elementary and high school, as well as at BHS, but has found she prefers to contribute behind the scenes whenever possible. She thanks Mrs. Barth, Ms. Shannahan, Mrs. Styche, and Mrs. Hill for allowing her the opportunity to play and to support the BHSDC. Ms. Grey hopes the cast, crew, pit, and production staff apotropaically break appropriate appendages to ensure excellent performances.
Nayeli Guardado (Maid & Ensemble)Nayeli is a freshman at Barnstable High School, she loves to sing and do different voices. This is her first year as a member of BHSDC and her first show as part of ensemble with the BHSDC and she’s so excited!
Torrance Harrington (Ensemble)Torrance Harrington is a 6th grader at BIS. She is interested in music. Torrance enjoys taking viola lessons and is a part of the Cape Cod Orchestra Primary Group, and participates in chorus at her school. She is very excited to be taking part in this production of The Little Mermaid.
Martina Ibarra Suarez (Ariel - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Martina Ibarra Suarez is an 18-year-old senior at Barnstable High School, she plays the role of Ariel (Sea Cast) in the BHSDC's production of The Little Mermaid. A passionate singer, performer, and music lover, Martina is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to portray Ariel. This show holds a special place in her heart as it marks her 7th and final performance with the BHSDC! Previously, Martina has portrayed Olive’s Mom in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, the Mysterious Young Woman in A-Haunting We Will Go, Katherine Plumber in Newsies, and Karen Smith in Mean Girls. She has also been involved with Kids on Broadway on Cape Cod and runs a YouTube channel, where she shares covers of songs in both English and Spanish, along with her original music. In addition to her performances, Martina is a member of the Chamber Choir and Vocal Jazz Ensemble at BHS, and she is also involved in guitar, piano, music production, chorus and band classes. Martina has had the honor of singing the national anthem for the Providence Bruins, Cotuit Kettleers Baseball Team, as well as for the BHS Boys Soccer, Football, and Volleyball teams. Last year, Martina participated in the 62nd Annual New England Music Festival, where she placed 2nd and 3rd in multiple categories. Next fall, she will continue her education at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Martina is incredibly excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to perform for everyone! Josie Jordan (Chef Louie - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Josie is a junior at Barnstable High School, and this is her third BHSDC production. Outside of the Drama Club, she enjoys attending concerts and trying to beat her friend’s block blast high scores. Brady Kundel (Prince Eric - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)Brady Kundel is a junior at BHS. This is his first ever show in the drama club, and he’s loving it so far. He plays football and volleyball and also the piano in his spare time. He’s super excited for this year's production!
Sophia Lewis (Adella & Princess 1)Sophia is a senior at BHS and this is her second and last year performing for the BHSDC! She has been on the sidelines until the show, Mean Girls, as Janis. Sophia is so excited to play Adella, the second to youngest daughter of King Triton, and also hopes the rest of the club a good luck as she explores theatre in college!
Ian Maguire (Orchestra Pit - Auxiliary Percussion)Ian is the Co-Director of the BHS Concert Band & BHS Jazz Band, Director of the BHS Pep Band, and the Contemporary Ensemble and Guitar teacher here at Barnstable High School. Ian graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2018 with a BA in Music Education and received his Masters in Music Education from the American Band College in 2023. He was fortunate enough to spend a semester of his undergraduate time studying music at the University of Limerick in Ireland as well. Ian loves having music in his life and being able to show and teach it to others. Music has played such a large role in his own happiness, that experiencing it everyday with colleagues, students, friends, and so on is a true gift. Outside of work Ian enjoys being with his family and friends, traveling, and working on his house, among many other things! Ian made his BHSDC debut acting on stage for Shrek in the Musical as Papa Shrek in March 2022, but he is excited to be making his BHSDC orchestra pit debut this year for Disney's The Little Mermaid! He hopes you thoroughly enjoy the performances from these hardworking BHSDC members.

Damien McCloy (King Triton)Damien is a 17-year-old student here at Barnstable High School who has performed in multiple BHSDC productions, those being Mary Poppins and A-Haunting We Will Go. Damien is excited and saddened to say that as a senior “The Little Mermaid” will be the final production that he performs in. Previous roles include George Banks in Mary Poppins and Moe Phillips in A-Haunting We Will Go, and for his final role he will be playing King Triton; the father of Ariel and the Mersisters and the king of the seas. He hopes that he’ll be able to entertain and move a crowd for his last performance here at Barnstable High School.
Harry McElhattan (Prince Eric - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Harry is a 17 year old junior in his first ever musical at Barnstable. He is having a great experience so far and would like to thank Mrs. Styche, Mrs. Barth, Mrs. Shanahan, Mrs. Hill, and the entire cast and crew for doing a wonderful job! Aberle Norton (Arista & Princess 4)Aberle Norton is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. This is her fourth show with the BHSDC. She has been a voice student at House of Jam for about 7 years, and has studied theater at Cotuit Center for the Arts for 6 years. She also did improv classes at Harwich junior theater. She was in The Wizard of Oz in 2019 with Cotuit Center for the Arts and Cape Symphony as well. Aberle would like to give a big thank you to everyone who has supported her!
Clara Nunes (Flounder - Ocean Cast, Featured Dancer & Ensemble)Clara Nunes is a sixteen year old Sophomore at Barnstable High School and has been doing theater for as long as she can remember. Some of her previous roles include Red Riding Hood from the musical Little Red Riding Hood, Luisa in the Sound of Music and Teenage Fiona in Shrek the Musical! She has been a part of acting and singing lessons throughout her life and loves every second of her time in the theater. Clara is so grateful to be in this wonderful show with the most amazing people!
Sophia Paulino (Maid & Ensemble)Sophia is an 8th grader and this is her 2nd show at Barnstable High School. She is ecstatic to be doing The Little Mermaid and can’t wait for others to see it. She will be seen on stage as a sailor, chef, courtier, sea creature, seagull, and maid. She has done three other shows in the past, one of them being with Barnstable. She has been Robertson Aye in Mary Poppins, Little Red Riding Hood’s understudy in Into The Woods, and ensemble in Mean Girls. She hopes you enjoy the show!!

Pietro Ramos (Pit Musician - Cello)Pietro Ramos is a 7th grade student at Barnstable Intermediate School. He is playing cello for the pit, this is his second time playing with the pit and he is really excited to be joining the pit once again. Outside of school he plays with the Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra and does the Cape Conservatory. He hopes you enjoy the show, and be happy about all the work that was put into it!
Aria Reid (Featured Dancer & Ensemble)Aria is an 8th grade student here at Barnstable High School. This is her second production with the BHSDC. This fall she was a spotlight operator for Mean Girls, but she is so excited to be on stage for The Little Mermaid as a featured dancer. When not on stage, you can find Aria cheerleading in the fall or hanging out with her friends. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Layla Ribot (Allana, Featured Dancer & Princess 6 )Layla Ribot is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. The Little Mermaid will be her fifth production in BHSDC. Layla previously was in Mary Poppins, A-Haunting We Will Go, Newsies, and Mean Girls. Layla fell in love with the fun aspect of working amongst wonderful actors, singers, and dancers. Layla has always enjoyed singing, but never thought about acting until joining drama club. She is so excited to be part of a strong, friendly community and to gain more experience for more wonderful performances soon to come!

Michael Rivera (Pilot & Ensemble)Mikey is a freshman at Barnstable High School and this is his first year with the BHSDC. He has been playing in the Barnstable Orchestra for three years and has been with the Barnstable music department since the 4th grade. His extensive knowledge of music has led him into a path towards the world of theater, allowing him to explore his future career in acting and singing. He is excited to continue learning more about theater and connecting with talented and fun people along the way.
David Rodriguez (Crew - Backstage Run Crew)David is a sophomore here at BHS and is very excited to be a part of the BHSDC crew this year because this is his first time helping on the set of any drama production!! He loves music and loves spending time within the Music Dept. where he does things like Concert, Jazz, and Pep band on his Alto Saxophone which he's played since 4th grade. David also takes Contemporary Ensemble and is a Multi-instrumentalist for his band The Fishbones, where he covers Rhythm Guitar, Sax, and some Bass parts. Overall, David is honored to be part of BHSDC this year and hopes to do his best as part of the run crew for this production of The Little Mermaid!!
Sulan Rodriguez (Flotsam - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)Sulan is in her junior year at Barnstable High School. She is also the publicity director in the Drama club that made the “Mean Girls” and “Little Mermaid” posters. She was in the productions “Newsies” as Bunsan, Newsie; and “Mean Girls” as a band member and Mathlete. She wants to thank her family and the members of the drama club for this amazing opportunity.

Adeline Sharp (Ensemble)Addie is a 13 year old 8th grader at BHS. This will be her second production with the BHSDC! Being a part of the drama club is something she loves. She also likes to read and draw. Enjoy the show!
Jeremy Shea (Grimsby - Ocean Cast)Jeremy Shea is a history teacher at BHS and this is his sixth BHSDC production. He’s played a depressed shop keeper, a proud dad of former Mean Girl, a pragmatic King Charlemagne, and the conflicted Mayor of New York City, but none have been more fun than loyal Grimsby.
The theater brings us together, across age and background, to delight in a story. Thank you, the audience for believing in the show, in believing in us, the cast, to bring you joy and excitement. Thank you to the actors and crew who shared in a splendid journey of creation. Thank you to the Production Team, especially Mary and Brooke, who guide the ship with vision and strength.

Eamon Shields (Crew - Backstage Run Crew & Fly Bar System)Eamon is a freshman at Barnstable High School. At his previous school he has been part of a play every year since 2nd grade. Throughout the experiences he has learned about the many responsibilities by all the different people in the Cast and Crew. This is his first performance for the BHSDC and is excited for the many to come.
Niveah Silva (Maid 1 & Ensemble)Niveah Silva is a 12th grader at Barnstable High School and is thrilled to be performing The Little Mermaid with this wonderful cast! Her most recent role with the BHSDC was this past fall as Rachel Hamilton in Mean Girls.
Gia Spagnuolo (Jetsam - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Gia is a sophomore at BHS, and she is so excited to perform in her third musical, The Little Mermaid! Her first performance was in Shrek when she went to BIS, and her second was in Newsies. She loves art, music, and dancing. She hopes to gain friends and memories and is excited for her role as Jetsam.
David Steinhilber (Ensemble)
Mary Steinhilber (Andrina & Princess 5)Mary is a dedicated musician in the Performing Arts Department here at Barnstable in the jazz band, pep band, concert band, concert choir, piano class and a TA in contemporary ensemble. She’s been in drama club since her freshman year, debuting as Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical. Outside of school, she is in the Cape Symphony's Youth Orchestra and participated in the past two All Cape Music Festivals as the first and second chair euphonium. In addition to the performing arts, Mary is also working on her senior line in fashion design, and hopes you will be at the Barnstable Fashion Show taking place right here in the PAC on May 2nd at 6:30pm! Shoutout to backstage crew and musicians working with the actors in each show...we couldn’t do this without you!
Avery Storie (Ensemble)Avery is a freshman at Barnstable High School and is really excited to be a part of The Little Mermaid! Avery loves the arts, especially drawing. She has seen productions in the past and decided she wanted to be a part of the acting scene! Avery appeared in Shrek the Musical at BHS in March 2022, and returns to have more fun. She hopes you enjoys The Little Mermaid!
McKinley Strand (Leeward - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)McKinley is a 5th grade student at Barnstable United Elementary and is thrilled to be back on stage with the BHSDC. She most recently appeared in Newsies as Les. In addition to acting/singing, McKinley enjoys basketball, baseball, soccer, reading, playing the violin and her dogs, Paisley & Tucker. McKinley is very grateful for her supportive family and the entire cast and crew of The Little Mermaid!
Ace Strauss (Chef Louie - Ocean Cast)Ace is a senior this year at BHS and is looking forward to graduation. He has been a part of the drama club for the last few years, and has enjoyed acting in some past productions such as Mary Poppins and Mean Girls. He enjoys acting and doing fun accents. In his free time Ace also enjoys playing video games and spending time with his family and friends.
Averie Thomas (Atina, Featured Dancer & Princess 3)Averie is a 13 years old 8th grader at Barnstable High School and has loved musical theatre from the beginning. She has danced at studios since she was 3 and she currently dances at ‘Align Dance Training’ in sandwich! Averie also attended ‘IPOP’ (International Presentation of Performers), in Anaheim, California and won 2 place in an international dance competition. She is honored to be playing the mersister, Atina and is so happy that she has found such a wonderful group of people at BHSDC and is excited to be in more shows in the future!
Keely Touhey (Ariel - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)Keely is an 18 year old senior at Barnstable High School and is the Co-Vice president of the BHSDC. The Little Mermaid is her seventh and final show with the BHSDC. She has played the Sugar Plum Fairy in Shrek the Musical, Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Ms. Andrew in Mary Poppins, Ginny Albright in A-Haunting We Will Go, Ms. Medda Larkin in Newsies, and most recently, Ms. Norbury in Mean Girls. She participates in extracurricular activities such as Vocal Jazz, Tri-M Music Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, and is in the BHS Chamber Choir. She has sung in the All Cape and Islands Music Festival every year since 2022, was in the Southeast District Festival every year since 2023, and earned an All-State Choir audition recommendation earlier last year. Keely conducted a choir song in the 2024 BHS spring concert, won second place in jazz voice at the ATAM New England Music Festival in 2024, and has written her own music that she plans on releasing and performing soon. In the future, she wants to pursue music education as a career and has been accepted to the University of New Hampshire, Bridgewater State University, and Berklee College of Music’s campus in Valencia, Spain. She hasn’t committed to any school yet, however she is incredibly grateful and optimistic about the opportunities she has been given. She is extremely excited to be playing such an amazing role and would like to thank the amazing cast, crew, and directors for making such a wonderful show possible. Specifically, she would like to thank her best friend Delilah, who has been there for her since elementary school. Keely can’t wait to see what the future of the BHSDC holds and feels so lucky to have been a part of it!
Nariah Turner (Jetsam - Ocean Cast & Wnsemble)Nariah is a 17 year old junior at BHS. This is going to be her 6th production in the BHSDC. Her most recent role was as Mrs.George in Mean Girls. In The Little Mermaid she is playing the role of Jetsam, one of Ursulas eels as well as ensemble. She loves being a part of the drama club and all of the productions. She can't wait for you to come enjoy and watch this show!
Paulina Villejo (Leeward - Sea Cast & Ensemble)Paulina Villejo is a 5th grade student at Barnstable United Elementary School. She is very excited to be part of Disney's The Little Mermaid cast. This is her second performance with the BHSDC. Paulina loves acting, art, dance, playing basketball and soccer and hanging out with friends, her brother and dogs Spud and Harry. She would like to thank everyone for all their support.
Xavi Villejo (Sebastian)Xavi is a 16-year-old sophomore at Barnstable. This will be his second show with the BHSDC. In the past, Xavi has played Snyder the spider, Mr. Jacobi, AND Nunzio in BHS’s production of Newsies. Xavi is over-the-moon excited for an amazing show with an AMAZING cast!
Samantha Wiseman (Windward - Ocean Cast & Ensemble)Samantha Wiseman is a lively and outgoing fifth-grade student at Barnstable United Elementary School. She is thrilled to be part of the cast of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, marking her second performance with the BHSDC. When she's not on stage, Samantha enjoys playing video games, spending time with her friends, and cuddling with her beloved cat, Bruno. She is excited to bring her passion for performing to this magical production!
