Mean Girls: High School Version Cast

Matthew Brancaccio (Kevin G.)
Matthew is a junior at Barnstable High School and is super excited to be in his sixth BHSDC production. His most recent appearance was in Newsies where he portrayed Race, the cigar flinging jokester. Matthew is so excited for you to come and enjoy the show and hopes you can see all of the hard work he and the entire cast has put into it.
Eliza Bundschuh (Christian Wiggins)
Eliza is a ninth grader in her second year with the BHSDC. She is currently the drama club treasurer and secretary of the Class of 2028. When not participating in drama club, she enjoys volunteering and working on learning Spanish. Eliza is excited for both shows this year!
Rowan Cammarano (Musician - Reed (doubled))
Rowan is a senior at BHS and has been involved with every play/ musical produced at BHS since the good old days of Shrek in lighting design. Their long-lived dreams have finally come true this year as they are able to play in the pit for the very first time. They plan to continue to study music in college next year.
Triniece Clegg (Gretchen Weiners)
Triniece is a senior at Barnstable High School and this will be her first time playing a lead role! This is both nerve-racking and exciting for her. Triniece has been a part of the BHSDC since December of 2022. She’s played Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins, Madame Lugosi in A-Haunting We Will Go, Miss Medda Larkin in Newsies, and now Gretchen Weiners in Mean Girls! Triniece’s passions and hobbies don’t just lie in theatre, she also enjoys reading and spending time with her family and friends. Drama club has really helped Triniece break out of her shell and she couldn’t be more grateful for everyone in the club that helped her!
Isabella Rose Crawley (Northshore Student)
Isabella is an eighth grade student at BHS. She likes to play sports, instruments and sing. She is a great student and she is willing to do anything. She is kind and bubbly. Isabella is Hispanic, African American and Portuguese. She has three sisters and one brother. Her favorite classes are art and poetry.
Izabela de Assis (Sophie Kawachi)
Izabela is a 16-year-old sophomore here at BHS. Returning from DY, Izabela has been a part of many past BHSDC productions, including Shrek and Mary Poppins! She’s been involved in the club since 7th grade and wouldn’t change a single thing about it. She loves singing and acting, and has been doing it since she was a little girl. She is the biggest Mean Girls fan and is absolutely ecstatic to be a part of the show!
Arden DeStefano (Martin J.)
Arden is a 15 year old sophomore at BHS. This is her third show with the BHSDC, after Shrek the Musical and Mary Poppins. She loves to sing and dance, and her favorite singer is Taylor Swift! She is very excited to be a part of Mean Girls, and hopes to make a fantastic stage presence!
Delilah DeYoung (Dawn Schweitzer, Teary Girl, Marymount Mathlete & Rockin' Around the Pole Singer)
Delilah is a junior here at Barnstable High School, and has been with the BHSDC since she was in eighth grade. Since then, she's been in several productions, this being her fifth!! In the past, she was the Fairy Godmother in Shrek: The Musical, Leaf's Mother in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the Bird Woman in Mary Poppins, and Sniper in Newsies. In her free time, she is a passionate singer and writer. Delilah has adored Mean Girls for years, and she is beyond excited to put on this show. She is incredibly grateful to the entire cast, crew, tech, and directors for all helping to make this show absolutely fetch. She hopes everyone who comes to the show enjoys!!
Kayro Dos Santos (Damian Hubbard)
Kayro is a 17-year-old junior at BHS. He is so excited to be in his first BHSDC show with such a fun cast! When not singing and dancing, Kayro enjoys painting, learning languages and playing his double bass. Previously, Kayro portrayed the role of Billy Flynn in Chicago at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School.
Kristopher Dumas (Mr. Buck)
Mr. Dumas is a History teacher at BHS and a member of Barnstable's Class of 2000. His last production was in 2000 when the BHSDC performed The Hobbit. Mr Dumas loves to travel with his family, he also loves a good old fashioned Dad Joke.
Sean Dunson (Backstage Run Crew)
Sean is an 11th grade student at Barnstable High School. This is his first time being a part of a Drama club and he is excited to learn about it.
Mia Ferrier (Assistant Stage Manager)
Mia is an eighth grade student at Barnstable High school. She likes to read, do art, go on walks and a bunch of other things. She's done one performance as stage manager at Barnstable Intermediate School; Honk Jr., but this is her first official show with the BHSDC.
Taylor Foley (Cady Heron)
Taylor Foley is a 17-year-old senior at Barnstable High School and a recent transfer student. Last year, while part of her former school’s drama club, she performed in their rendition of Mean Girls: The Musical as Taylor Wedell. This year, she’s beyond excited to take the stage performing Mean Girls once again—this time as Cady Heron. When Taylor isn’t preparing for performances, you’ll find her at cheer practice or under the Friday night lights at football games cheering on the BHS football team. In addition to her love of theater, Taylor is passionate about art and music, and has been a part of a choir since the first grade. Taylor wants to thank the BHSDC members for welcoming her with open arms. She also wants to give a big thank you to Mrs. Barth for giving her this amazing opportunity to shine on stage, and for taking a chance on the “new kid.”
Elizabeth Gayton (Caroline Krafft & Northshore Student)
Elizabeth is a sophomore here at Barnstable High School and this is her fourth year with the BHSDC. In past shows she has played Ike in “Newsies”, ensemble in “Mary Poppins”, and a Duloc performer in “Shrek: The Musical”. Elizabeth has also done stage crew for “A Haunting We Will Go”. Elizabeth’s love for theater started when she attended The Hudson Valley Conservatory in elementary school. She has always had a love for music and plays the flute and piccolo in the BHS Band. Elizabeth is so excited for this show and she hopes you enjoy Mean Girls!
Audrey Gonzalez (Stage Manager)
Audrey is a junior and this will be her fourth year with the BHSDC. Previously she has been involved with Shrek: The Musical, Mary Poppins, A Haunting We Will Go, and Newsies. Audrey is super excited to be the head stage manager for Mean Girls and she hopes you love the show!
Morgan Grey (Musician - Auxiliary Percussion & French Teacher )
This is Ms. Grey’s sixth BHSDC production; the majority of her work has been off-stage in the pit, playing auxiliary percussion or oboe, but this will be her second on-stage appearance in a BHS show (though she’s also in the pit!). Ms. Grey was raised by actors and appeared on stage in elementary and high school, but has found she prefers to contribute behind the scenes whenever possible. Nevertheless, she thanks Mrs. Barth, Ms. Shannahan, and Mrs. Hill for allowing her an opportunity to use an outrageous French accent. Ms. Grey hopes the cast, crew, pit, and production staff apotropaically break appropriate appendages to ensure excellent performances.
Martina Ibarra Suarez (Karen Smith)
Martina Ibarra Suarez is a 17-year-old senior at Barnstable High School, she plays the role of Karen Smith in the BHSDC production of Mean Girls: The Musical. Passionate about singing and performing, Martina is thrilled and grateful for the opportunity to portray this character. She has been involved with Kids on Broadway here on Cape Cod and runs a YouTube channel where she shares covers of songs in both English and Spanish, as well as her original music, including her latest single in Spanish titled “KLK.” Additionally, Martina is a member of the Chamber Choir at BHS and participates in the Vocal Jazz ensemble. She has also had the honor of singing the national anthem for the Cotuit Kettleers Baseball Team, as well as for the BHS Boys Soccer, Football, and Volleyball teams. This marks Martina’s fifth production with BHSDC. Previously, she portrayed Olive’s Mom in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins, the Mysterious Young Woman in A-Haunting We Will Go, and Katherine Plumber in Newsies. Martina couldn’t be happier for this incredible opportunity and is eagerly looking forward to performing for everyone!
Josie Jordan (Tyler Kimball)
Josie is a junior at Barnstable this year, and this is her second appearance in a BHSDC production. She is so excited to be doing Mean Girls this year, and cannot wait for you to come see it. Outside of the drama club she enjoys listening to Reneé Rapp, playing Dress to Impress, and going to Ellie and Mason House.
Sophia Lewis (Janis Sarkisian)
Sophia is a senior at BHS. She has been on the sidelines of the drama club starting in sophomore year, but has finally broken out of her shell and landed a role she is passionate about! She hopes to continue with theater in her college years, as she has certainly had fun with it during high school.
Summer Marides (Glenn Cocco)
This is Summer’s fourth year in the Drama Club! She always loved the movie Mean Girls, too. Even though she is only fourteen years old she is making a big impact and hopes that she will continue to stay in Drama for the rest of high school. She loves to read, write, and listen to music. Even though that's a little basic she still enjoys it and tries to do it as much as she can to occupy herself. All of her best friends are in drama club, and she can't name them because there's too many! Drama club is like her second home, the place where she can be herself. She hopes whoever is reading this is already in Drama or wants to join it!
Azriel Morassi (Sound Crew)
Az is a junior, and has been doing theatre since 8th grade. They’re super excited for everyone to see how hard the BHSDC members have been working at this show, and they’re confident that you’ll love it!
Aberle Norton (Taylor Wedell & Rockin' Around the Pole Singer)
Aberle Norton is a sophomore at Barnstable High School, and this is her third show with the BHSDC. Her first show was Mary Poppins, her second Newsies, and now, Mean Girls! She has been part of The Wizard of Oz as well in 2019, with Cape Symphony, and Cotuit Center for the Arts. She has been a voice student at House of Jam for 6 years, and has studied theater at Cotuit Center for the Arts for 6 years and improv classes at Cape Cod Theatre Company/Harwich Junior Theatre.
Clara Nunes (Sonja Aquino & Marymount Mathlete)
Clara Nunes is a sixteen year old sophomore at Barnstable High School and has been doing theater for as long as she can remember. Some of her previous roles include Red Riding Hood from the musical Little Red Riding Hood, Luisa in the Sound of Music,and Teenage Fiona in Shrek the Musical! She has been apart of acting and singing groups and lessons throughout her time in theater and loves every second of it, and she’s so grateful to be in this wonderful show with the most amazing people!
Sophia Paulino (Northshore Student)
Sophia is an 8th grader at BHS. She loves books, theatre, music, and art. This is her third year in drama but her first performance at Barnstable. She is ecstatic to be doing the show “Mean Girls” this year and is in love with the soundtrack. In her previous years of drama, Sophia was Robertson Ay in “Mary Poppins” and Little Red's understudy in “Into The Woods”. She hopes that you enjoy the show and return for more in the future.
Layla Ribot (Lizzie Therman)
Layla Ribot is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. Mean Girls will be her fourth production in BHSDC. Layla previously was in Mary Poppins, A-Haunting We Will Go, and Newsies. Layla fell in love with the fun aspect of working amongst wonderful actors, singers, and dancers. Layla has always enjoyed singing, but never thought about acting until joining drama club. She is so excited to be part of a strong, friendly community and to gain more experience for more wonderful performances soon to come!

Sebastian is a junior at Barnstable High School.
Mr. Jeremy Shea (Mr. Heron)
Mr. Jeremy Shea is a history teacher at BHS. Since he got his start on stage in 2006 as Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls, Mr. Shea has performed in over two dozen shows, most recently in Newsies as Weisel and the Mayor. He would like to thank the cast, crew, Mrs. Barth, and especially his stage wife (and future wife in real life), Ms. Sweeney, and their daughter, the amazing Charlotte, who is cheering from the crowd.
Niveah Silva (Rachel Hamilton)

Mary spends most of her time in the music hallway, playing any instrument she can get her hands on. She’s been in drama club on and off since middle school, but has been a dedicated student within the music department. Her favorite role has been Lord Farquaad in Shrek because of the multiple solo songs while the spotlight shined on her bedazzled costume.
Martha Rockwell Swindler (Coach Carr)
Ms. Swindler is thrilled to return to the BHS stage after a few years away! She has previously delighted audiences in roles such as the Giant in Into the Woods, the science teacher in High School Musical, and Jan’s mother in Grease. Ms. Swindler is especially excited to be performing under the direction of Mrs. Barth, who was once her student. She looks forward to sharing this experience with everyone!
Keely Touhey (Ms. Norbury)
Keely is a 17-year-old senior at Barnstable High School and is the co-vice president of the BHSDC. Mean Girls is her sixth show with the BHSDC. She has played the Sugar Plum Fairy in Shrek the Musical, Logainne Schwartzandgrubenierre in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Ms. Andrew in Mary Poppins, Ginny Albright in A-Haunting We Will Go, and most recently, Ms. Medda in Newsies. She participates in extracurricular activities such as Vocal Jazz, Tri-M Music Honors Society, and also is in the BHS Chamber Choir. She has sung in the All Cape and Islands Music Festival every year since 2022, was in the Southeast District Festival last year and this year, and earned an All-State Choir audition recommendation earlier this year. In the future, she wants to pursue music education as a career. She is extremely excited to be playing such an amazing role and would like to thank the amazing cast, crew, and directors for making such a wonderful show possible.
Nariah Turner (Mrs. George)
Nariah is a junior this year at Barnstable High School! This is her 4th year being part of the drama club and her 5th show acting in! She loves being a part of the club and is really excited to be the “Cool Mom” in this show. She hopes everyone is excited to come see BHSDC perform “Mean Girls!”
