Bailey Theatre Company

Bailey Theatre Company (BTC) was incorporated in the state of Colorado on May 13, 2020, and was recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charity on July 13, 2020. Bailey Theatre Company (BTC) was born out of many conversations with local business owners and community members. Over several years these conversations always lead to one thing: Bailey needs something that will entertain the locals and get people driving on US Highway 285 to stop and enjoy the town. The conclusion was that a theatre would do both.

Bailey Theatre Company's (BTC) mission is to create a theatre that educates, entertains and inspires through classes and quality productions in Bailey, Colorado. We will produce quality entertainment using Colorado actors, directors, stage managers, designers and technicians.

We will help to create new works using Colorado playwrights, as well as emerging playwrights throughout the country, to foster new works that the audience will enjoy. In addition, we will recreate the classics, so they are reborn and lovingly re-imagined for a new generation. We will work together with the Bailey community and Park County to expand our audience and to make live theater central to Bailey's identity. We welcome diverse perspectives and lively debate in a climate that is open to everyone who wants to pursue a career in theatre.
