Naomi Amiot (Fern Arable)
Naomi is 11 years old and is in the 5th grade at OHVA. You may have seen her recently in A Christmas Carol at the Players Guild Theatre where she was in the ensemble. Naomi is also a 5-year member of the Summit Choral Soceity.
Nicholas Hughes (John Arable)
Nick is so excited to be a part of this amazing cast. He has been acting since he was four years old. He has been in productions at The Players Guild, The Little Theatre of Tuscarawas County, Sandy Valley High School, Malone University, and this August, he will be playing Miss Agatha Trunchbull in North Canton Playhouse’s production of Matilda the Musical. Nick would like to thank Sarah Jane Toy for giving him this opportunity. He would like to thank his mom and dad for all their support.
Alison Matas (Martha Arable)
Alison currently works as a reporter for the Canton Repository by day and is an actress-extraordinaire by night. No stranger to the stage, you may have seen Alison in productions such as Spitfire Grill (Shelby), Over the River and Through the Woods (Caitlin), Leading Ladies (Audrey), and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Woman 1).
Elijah Amiot (Avery Arable)
Avery is 15 years old and is a sophomore at Northwest High School. Brand new to the stage, Elijah is making his theatrical debut with this production. In his spare time, Elijah is a Life Scout in Boy Scouts and a Letterman in Cross Country and Track.
Daniel Amiot (Homer Zuckerman)
Daniel holds a BBA from Cleveland State University and currently works as a financial advisor. Previously on stage, you may have seen Daniel in productions such as Music Man (Tommy), Oklahoma (Dream Curley), and Runaways (Sgt. McGinnis). Daniel holds various leadership roles in the Boy Scouts of America over the past nine years. He would like to send a special “thank you” to his family for supporting his return to the world of theatre.
Madison Witte (Edith Zuckerman)
Madison is 22 years old and currently works at Michael Enterprises following her schooling at Wayne County Schools Career Center and Wooster High School. Madison’s all-time favorite role was playing the March Hare in Canal Fulton Players’ production of Alice In Wonderland. Last seen on the Avenue Arts stage as Mrs. Martini in It’s a Wonderful Life, she is thrilled to be returning to the stage in one of her favorite stories. On the side, Madison works as Queen Elsa and some of your other favorite princesses at Spectacular Party Entertainment.
Nathaniel Amiot (Wilbur)
Nathaniel is 13 years old and is in the 7th grade at OHVA. Last seen on stage in the ensemble of A Christmas Carol at the Players Guild Theatre, he is ecstatic to make his Avenue Arts debut. Nathaniel is a a Tenderfoot rank in Boy Scouts and loves Magic the Gathering.
Nathan Wise (Lurvy)
Nathan is 21 years old and is a current sophomore at the University of Akron. By day, Nathan works for Holy Spirit Catholic Church before he spends his nights at Avenue Arts and other theatrical venues. Previous stage credits include A Christmas Play (Santa Claus), Fiddler on the Roof (Rabbi), The Music Man (Quartet), and The Marriage of Figaro (Basilio). Nathan would like to thank Sarah Jane and the staff of Avenue Arts for allowing him to take part in this wonderful production.
Lily Warner (Templeton)
Lily is 10 years old and is currently in the 4th grade. Previously on the Avenue Arts stage, you may have caught Lily’s fantastic performances as Gingy in Shrek Jr. and Miss Hannigan in Annie Jr. Lily loves arts and crafts as well as writing and directing her own plays to perform at school with her friends.
Alison Troyer (Charlotte)
Alison is 19 years old and is currently enrolled at Kent State University at Stark where she is majoring in Theatre with a concentration in Performance while working on the side at the Marc’s in Hartville. Last seen on the Avenue Arts stage as Miss Andrews in It’s a Wonderful Life, she has been seen in numerous other productions including The Music Man (Mrs. Paroo), 42nd Street (Miss Maggie Jones), and Fame Jr. (Miss Sherman). Alison would like to thank this amazing ensemble for all of their hard work and overflowing love and kindness. “You are all terrific, radiant, and humble people!”
Pressley Grzybowski (First Member)
Pressley is 10 years old and currently attends Glenwood Intermediate School. This is Pressley’s first acting role and we are thrilled to welcome her to the Avenue Arts family. Pressley is proud to say that she knows all of the lyrics to the songs in Hamilton. She also plays the cello and is a speed reader. Fun fact: her last name means “mushroom” in Polish - pronounced Ja-bus-kee.
James Farina (Second Member)
James is 20 years old and works at Discount Outlet while attending classes at Kent State University. Past stage credits include Of Mice and Men (Boss), Beauty and the Beast (Eggman), A Christmas Carol (Narrator), and Music Man Jr. (Mayor Shinn). James is an artist and draws mostly cartoons.
Ava Moneypenny (Third Member)
Ava is 11 years old and attends the 5th grade at Tuscarawas Valley Middle School. Previously on the Avenue Arts stage, you may have seen Ava as Pepper in our production of Annie Jr. Other stage credits include A Fairy Tale Christmas Carol (Tabitha Charming), Charlotte’s Web (Baby Spider Joy), and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (Children’s Chorus). Ava has played the piano since she was 5 years old and sings with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic Children’s Chorus. Ava would like to thank her parents for their support and Avenue Arts for the opportunity to appear on stage in such a fun production.
Patrice Rittenhouse (Goose)
Patrice is thrilled to be returning to the Avenue Arts stage where she was previously seen in a plethora of productions including Sordid Lives (Dr. Eve), Hell with the Holidays (Delphine), The Dry Season (Linda), and Harry’s Hotter at Twilight (Stella).
Charles Hayward (Gander)
Charles holds a Master’s in Education from the University of Toledo and currently works for Here For You Child Development Center. Past stage credits include Miracle on 34th Street (Various), Father of the Bride (Father), God’s Favorite (Joe Benjamin), To Kill a Mockingbird (Bob Ewell), and Leading Ladies (Reverend). Charles would like to thank his family and friends who support him in his theatrical endeavors!!! “I hope that you all enjoy this performance. I’m sure that you will”.
Laurel Francheskan (Sheep)
Laurel attended the University of Akron for Commercial Art and now works as an apartment leasing agent. Previously on the Avenue Arts stage you may have seen Laurel as Mrs. Hatch and Potter’s Secretary in our production of It’s a Wonderful Life. Laurel has traveled all over the United States as well as parts of Canada and Mexico. Her dream is to visit Germany, Italy and Ireland as she has family roots there - plus, she loves a good Irish jig!
Jaqueline Dyer (Lamb)
Jacqueline is 11 years old and currently attends St. Paul’s Catholic School! Previously on the Avenue Arts stage, you may have seen her as Mrs. Gloop in last year’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. Other stage credits include The Little Mermaid (Eel), The Lion King (Lioness/Ensemble), Sleeping Beauty (Merriweather), Aladdin (Ensemble) and The Nightmare Before Christmas: A Ballet (Lock). Jacqueline enjoys volleyball and hopes to one day be a professional setter. Special thanks go out to all of her directors for helping her achieve her goals in acting. “Thank you mom, grandma, grandpa and dad for supporting me. Thanks dad for being the comedian”.
