About We're Okay, We're Okay, We're All gonna Be Okay
Please join us for a hilarious examination of mental health and trauma healing while working on the world’s strangest two-person version of Hamlet. This new play, written by up-and-coming young playwright Gina Femia, is a collaboration with NYC theatre company The Farm Theatre. Gina's debut YA novel, Alondra was named a Best Book for Teens in 2023 and is a Finalist for a Golden Kite award. The Farm Theatre is currently connected with the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit, John Proctor is the Villain. That play, currently in its Broadway run, started life with this collaborative process between The Farm Theatre and universities across the country. Hopefully, this debut at APSU will give this new work some power to make it to the top!
