Set in Edwardian London, 1910, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's “Mary Poppins” surrounds a Family of four; a Father, a Mother, a Daughter, a Son, and the dysfunctional lifestyle they have made for themselves. But when a magical nanny arrives to take charge of the children, the household soon turns on it's head, and the Banks family might just learn why she is, as she says, Practically Perfect in every way. From a walk in magical park, a rooftop romp with a Chimney Sweep or two, and the creation of a certain thirty-four letter word, Assumption Theatricals' “Mary Poppins” is sure to brighten up your cloudy day, give you a chuckle, and keep you wondering “how do they do that?!” – The answer – Pure Magic! 

Created in 2025, Assumption Theatricals is a creative home for students who are passionate about the performing arts. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, our program offers opportunities for students to explore the arts and grow in confidence and creativity.
