After our 2019 Production of Big Fish, Assumption High School was well on their way to their 2020 production, “Freaky Friday”. But due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, and staff changes that resulted in no musical director or team, the Assumption Musical ceased production. 

However, the Musical program returns to Assumption with 2025's “Sister Act” the Musical! 

Based on the beloved film; Flashy 70’s nightclub singer, Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a mob hit, and the police hide her in a stuffy convent until she can testify. With her identity a secret to the nuns, she is forced to act as one. So what else is there for a girl to do than teach the very sweet, but not so sweet sounding nuns how to sing? The Assumption Musical Program's revival with this show is certain to keep your toes tapping, your hands clapping, and give you a little bit of that “Sunday Morning Fever!"
