Featuring one of the greatest musical scores of all time, including classic songs “Don’t Rain On My Parade” and “People,” this bittersweet comedy is based on the true story of the indomitable Fanny Brice, a girl from the Lower East Side who dreamed of a life on the stage. Determined to become a big star, she headed into showbiz despite warnings from her mother and friends that she wasn’t a ‘typical beauty.’ Then something funny happened—she became one of the most beloved performers in history, shining brighter than the brightest lights of Broadway.

Arts Express Theatre spent the last four years transforming a former retail space at Park Place into a state-of-the-art theatre complex. The space design, including cabaret seating, spacious lobby, convenient parking and advanced technical equipment creates an attractive, flexible and accessible environment that can be arranged into a host of configurations for a fully immersive experience. Intentional steps have been taken to assure that the acoustics provide for a pleasurable audience experience.
