Asa Kienitz-Kincade (Pippin)
Hey there everybody! Asa is so excited to be doing theater in Baltimore for the first time! He just moved from Minneapolis, where he got to be in great shows he loved with great people. Now he gets to be in more great shows he loves with more great people, in a new area! Some of his past credits include Ragtime, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Cabaret, and - in high school - Pippin! Outside of theater, his hobbies include playing guitar, playing chess, but mostly hanging out with his cat, Bella.
Brittany Trexler (Leading Player)
Brittany is thrilled to be returning to ASOB as Leading Player. She has previously been seen at ASOB in AIDA (Ensemble/Dance Captain) and GOOSEBUMPS: THE PHANTOM OF THE AUDITORIUM (choreographer). She has also performed with STS in RENT (Mimi) and in the original musical ROBERT & COMPANY (Ensemble). Off stage, Brittany loves her cats, pole dancing, board games and ignoring her dissertation. Brittany wants to send a big thank you to the whole Pippin team and to her wonderful partners!
Charlotte Evans (Berthe)
Charlotte is thrilled to be back onstage after an 18-year hiatus. During that time, she has been working professionally as a musical director and running her own cake business, Confections by Charlotte. Previous roles include Marta in COMPANY, Mrs. Taylor in BAT BOY, Ruth Sherwood in WONDERFUL TOWN, and Cinderella in INTO THE WOODS. Charlotte dedicates this performance to her own saucy grandma who would have thought this was a gas.
Elizabeth Ryan (Catherine)
Elizabeth is so excited to be returning to ASOB in the role of Catherine! Previous credits include 2nd Star’s Sound of Music (nun) and ASOB’s The Wedding Singer (ensemble). When she isn’t onstage, Elizabeth is a speech language pathologist at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. She would like to thank the amazing production team Broadus, Terrell, Charlotte, Sam, Melissa, and Ashley for all of their hard work on this production. She would also like to thank her family, friends, and fiancé James for their continued support of her crazy theater antics. Special thanks to the amazing cast who has made this journey an extraordinary one! Enjoy the show!
Angela Cava (Fastrada)
Angela is excited to be making her ASOB debut! Maryland credits: JOB’s EVITA (ensemble, u/s Peron’s Mistress), HCST’s GUYS AND DOLLS (ensemble), and SS’ THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (ensemble). She also loves performing playback theatre (improv) with PIF. Some out-of-state credits: PMAA’s CYRANO FROM NOWHERE (Roxane), RCT’s SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL (Mayzie La Bird), and MCC’s ZORRO: CURSE OF CAPISTRANO (Benita). Eliyahu Kheel (King Charlemagne)
Eliyahu is so excited to be returning to Artistic Synergy of Baltimore after music directing GOOSEBUMPS: THE PHANTOM OF THE AUDITORIUM, playing Pirate King in PIRATES OF PENZANCE, and performing in the SHOOT FOR THE STARS CABARET. Eliyahu is a voice teacher and music director. Recent credits include music directing AVENUE Q (Ovations theatre), GYPSY (Ovations theatre), WILLY WONKA, and co-music directing URINETOWN (Ovations theatre). Favorite onstage credits include Cladwell in URINETOWN (Ovations theatre), Horton in SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL (Ovations theatre), Brian in AVENUE Q (Ovations theatre), Panch in PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (Street Lamp Productions), Trunchbull in MATILDA (Newtown Arts Company). Next up, Eliyahu will be music directing YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN at Third Wall Productions, CABARET at Ovations Theatre, and SWEENEY TODD in Concert at Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. Arthur Green (Lewis)
Arthur is excitedly making his ASOB debut. Green has acted since the 4th Grade and has held the title roles in A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS and in LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD and the POWER MUTANTS. Trained in the acting method of Michael Chekov, Green has been known to provide both dramatic and comedic performances, with noted great timing and vision. Green is a classically trained singer out of Morgan State University (MSU), and sings in English, French, Italian, and German. He has taken part in the MSU Musical Theatre Program and the school's illustrious choir.
Kristen Sauder (Theo)
Kristen has been acting since 5th grade. She loves singing and dancing and most of all, making people laugh. She is so excited to perform Pippin for everyone!
Sophia Basso (Ensemble)
Sophia is delighted to be performing in Pippin alongside a stunning cast! Some of Sophia’s past roles include LeFou in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR, The Cat in HONK JR, Sister Mary Lazarus in SISTER ACT and Barbara in BARBEQUE. Sophia has been performing since she was nine and has performed in productions at her schools. This is her first show with a local theatre company. Outside of theatre Sophia is a licensed cosmetologist and loves to attend comic conventions, play video games and watch her favorite movies and TV shows. Sophia would like to give a shout out to her loving family and boyfriend who have supported her during the show. And she would like to shout out the amazing and hardworking cast and crew members that helped make this show possible. Break legs!
Kayla Byrd (Ensemble)
Kayla is a self-taught actress singer and dancer. She got her start in theatre at a young age participating in various roles from elementary through middle school and even being a part of programs like TWiGs at BSA. She took a long break but began acting again at CCBC in 2022. You may have seen her in BARBACUE (Lillie Anne), HOTEL CASSIOPEIA (Waitress/Leila), LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Chiffon), and maybe at the B&O railroad as a ‘Dancing Chef’ for a Warner Brothers’ production of POLAR EXPRESS. Kayla is so excited to be a part of this production and this PERFECT cast!
Shayna Greenblatt (Ensemble)
Shayna has enjoyed “jumping into the fire” with her first ASOB show! She most recently appeared as Diane in Bootless Stageworks’ original show “YOU’VE GOT RED ON YOU”, Mad Margaret in the Ardensingers’ production of “RUDDIGORE” and as a soloist in their Pre-Holiday Madness Spectacular, among other Delaware community and semi-professional theater productions. Shayna holds an associates degree in classical vocal performance and a masters in social work. She is excited to explore what Baltimore theater has to offer has a “hunch” she will be “back” again!
Kara Kaskel (Ensemble / Dance Captain)
Kara is thrilled to make her debut with ASOB in the Ensemble of Pippin. After a 5-year hiatus from theatre, she couldn’t have picked a better show to dive into. Behind the scenes, Kara took on the role of Dance Captain and supported the show’s choreography. Kara would like to thank her boyfriend, Vaggeli, for being so supportive in her theatrical journey. She is so grateful for this ‘extraordinary’ cast. Break a leg!
James D. Lefkowitz (Ensemble)
James is excited for his ASOB debut! His most recent experience was in PANTO OF THE OPERA and RUDDIGORE with the Ardensingers in Arden, DE. He previously sang his heart out and made people wonder in UMBC’s MAMA’S BOYS A CAPPELLA and AF Theatre Co. In his free time he co-leads the volunteer charity fundraiser Harmonizing Hope. He looks forward to many more years of Baltimore community theatre.
Aaron Partin (Ensemble)
Aaron Partin is excited to be back on the ASOB stage in their production of PIPPIN. You may have seen him previously on this stage in GOOSEBUMPS THE MUSICAL as Zeke. His other favorite acting credits include Seymour in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, Charlie Brown in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN, and Old Man Strong/Hot Blades Harry in URINETOWN. He would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support, and he hopes you enjoy this extraordinary and magical performance!
Eli Petersen (Ensemble)
Eli is thrilled to be performing again. They have been in many shows in the past, but have been focusing more on the technical aspect of theater recently. You may have seen them as an Angel in ANYTHING GOES, Ginger in ZOMBIE PROM, and Samuel Prescott in THE LADY PIRATES OF CAPTAIN BREE at The Sky is the Limit. You may have seen also the show they stage managed at CCBC Essex, A BRIGHT NEW BOISE. Eli can't wait for you all to see the show, and hope everyone enjoys the show as much as they have enjoyed being in it!
Samantha Reynolds (Ensemble)
Samantha is excited to be performing in her second show with ASOB as not only an ensemble member, but choreographer as well. This show has truly brought out the most creative sides of her and has allowed her to play a different type of character than she typically plays. Some prior credits include; ANASTASIA, GOOSEBUMPS, & THE ADDAMS FAMILY. Samantha is looking forward to returning to the ASOB stage for this production and many more to come in the future.
Theo Scully (Ensemble)
Theo (they/he) is excited to be performing with both old friends and new acquaintances in PIPPIN! Theo made his community theatre debut in the fall of 2018 and has been performing locally ever since. When not on stage, they are busy running D&D campaigns, reading, and working at the public library. Theo thanks the cast and crew for all the support they have shown him and would like to give special thanks to their partner, Cory, and his vocal teacher, Eliyahu Kheel (wow, that name sounds familiar...).
