Keira Cassidy-Stewart (Matilda)
Keira is thrilled to be in their first ASoB production and playing such an amazing role. Previous shows include “Into the Woods” (Little Red) with TWL, “Beauty and the Beast Jr.” (Gaston) and “Seussical Jr.” (Wickersham) with PRCDC, and “Music Man Jr.” (Marcellus) with CPM. Keira would like to thank their parents, family, and friends, the entire cast, and the ASoB team for their support.
Reed VanBlargan (Trunchbull)
Reed is excited to work with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore again! He was in last year’s Christmas show, “In the Nick of Time.” He enjoys sports and plays football, wrestling, and tennis. “Thank you everyone! Enjoy the show.”
Jack Brown (Honey)
Jack is thrilled to be working with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore again! Jack's most recent shows with ASoB are The Lightning Thief as Clarisse and the 10th Anniversary Cabaret. You might also recognize Jack from Streetlamp Productions' “Into The Woods Jr.” as the Baker, in Tidewater Players' “Grease” in the ensemble, and others. Break a leg, cast and crew! Abel Browne (Mr. Wormwood)
Abel is once again excited to be working with ASoB and proud to be playing Mr. Wormwood. He has been seen in many other shows such as “A Christmas Story,” “Annie,” “The Jungle Book Jr.,” and “The Little Mermaid.” He is overjoyed to be working with all the amazing people who have made this dream come true. Makayla Gard (Mrs. Wormwood)
Makayla is happy to be working with ASoB again. She has been doing theatre for 12 years. She dreams of becoming an actress. I want to thank the whole cast and crew for all the smiles. Enjoy the show!
Kara Krickler (Matilda U/S & Ensemble)
Kara is VERY excited to work with ASoB for the first time! Kara has performed in improvisational theater with Ovation since she was 4 years old. Kara has also performed with CTA in "Virtually Ever After" and "The Search for Intelligent Lifeforms on Earth". She also appeared in "Annie" with EMC and "Mirror O' Mirror" with TAFE. Skyler Haldens (Doctor & Trunchbull U/S)
Skyler is so excited to work with ASoB for the first time. This is their first time in public theater. By day they are an incoming 9th grader who loves history and literature. "Much love to ASoB's cast and crew. I hope everyone enjoys!"
Lindy Barrett (Ensemble)
Hi, my name is Lindy! I love cats, making videos for my YouTube channel, spending time with my friends and family, and anime. This is the third production that I have been a part of and my first show with ASoB. I’m very excited to be a part of Matilda and I hope you guys like it. (Hi Aunt Ashley! I promise I’ll go to college.)
Cassie Coles (Henchman)
Cassie is super excited about performing in “Matilda.” She has previously acted in “Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “The Middle School Brain,” and performs in Theater on Ice. Aside from acting, she likes to read, draw, build with Legos, and ice skate. She would like to thank her family and friends, as well as her directors and fellow actors. “Break a finger, because you’re going to need your legs for this!”
Sabrina Cosden (Lavender)
Sabrina is excited to return to the stage with some friends and former cast mates. She has previously been seen at ASoB as Petra Quince in “The Rude Mechanicals” , “In the Nick of Time,” “Schoolhouse Rock LIVE,” “Charlotte’s Web” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” She has danced with Denise Winter’s Rosedale Dance for 5 years, and recently made her debut with CCC ArtBeat in “The Little Mermaid,” “Frozen,” and “GRMS Drama Club.” When not performing, Sabrina loves all things Taylor Swift, telling jokes, and spending time with family and friends. Sabrina has enjoyed making friends with her cast mates. “Break a leg, everyone!”
Addison Dietz (Ensemble)
Addison is thrilled to work with ASoB for the first time. Her first show was with Honeygo Elementary where she was a winged monkey for the musical, “The Wizard of Oz.” Addison loves to play soccer, run and spend time with her family and dog. Addison will be attending Perry Hall middle school in the fall where she hopes to join their drama club.
Saraí Isabela Drost (Hortensia)
Saraí has been in theater since 2018 and acted in four plays. She was the little girl and younger Ti’Mone on "Once on this Island" and Molly in "Annie" at ACS. She was Shepherd 2 in "A Christmas Special" at ALC. She played Chrys in "School House Rock" with ASoB. She performed as Snug the Joiner in "The Rude Mechanicals." Lastly she did a song and dance for ASoB's 10th Anniversary Cabaret. She lives with her mother, father, younger brother, and her dog. She loves to draw, gymnastics, soccer, and cuddles with her dog. She currently plays three instruments: trumpet, violin, and piano and knows two languages: English and Spanish while learning a third language: Japanese. She is excited to be part of ASoB for her third summer and thanks everyone for their hardwork.
Zuri Goetz (Amanda)
Zuri found her passion in theater. She made her musical debut in “Beauty and the Beast” starring as Chip. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and line dancing. She is so honored to play the role of Amanda Thripp in “Matilda: The Musical.” She is so grateful for all of the fun and friends made during this opportunity. "Thank you! I've had the best time making memories with you all. I will never stop preforming!"
Isabella Lopez (Lavender)
Isabela is very excited to make her debut appearance on the stage as Lavender in this production of “Matilda”! She is thrilled to be working alongside friends, old and new.
Lizzy Lopez (Acrobat)
Alisabeth is very excited to make her debut appearance on the stage as the Acrobat in this production of “Matilda”! She is thrilled to be working alongside friends, old and new.
Addie Malkowski (Rodolpho)
Addie is 17 going into her senior year at Patapsco for acting. This is her 7th show at ASOB! She serves as class president and will also be the international thespian society president for her school’s troop. She has been acting for the last ten years. She is hoping to be able to go to college to study music production and become a singer-songwriter while owning her own record label and doing acting gigs on the side.
Jessica Marsheck (Ms. Phelps)
Jessica is a senior in the theatre magnet at Patapsco High School & Center for the Arts. Jessica is very excited to be in her first show here at ASoB! She would like to thank the directors, crew, and her fellow cast members for making this such an amazing experience!
Eva Marx (Alice)
“Life Changes” is my current moto. I love to climb trees, play games, swim, draw, color and create various types of art projects from paper dragon puppets to interior decorating houses on my iPad. I am often singing and dancing around the house and enjoy making people laugh and just hanging out with my friends and family. This is my 6th show, my past characters have been; Randi in “Christmas Story Musical” (SITL), Princess Hippolyta in “The Rude Mechanicals” (ASOB) and children’s chorus in “The Little Mermaid” (SITL) “Godspell in Concert” (ASOB) and “Once Upon a Mattress” (SITL). I want to thank everyone in the cast and crew of this show for making it fun and I want to thank my parents, grandparents and Kai for loving and supporting me through this!
Abigail Merryman (Erica)
Abigail is very excited to work with ASoB for her first show. She has been wanting to try this for years. She is a ten-year-old girl that will be going into 5th grade in the fall. Abbie has sisters, 1 brother, 2 dogs and awesome parents. Abbie would like to thank the cast and crew for everything that she is learning. Good luck everyone!!!
Lillian Merryman (Ensemble)
Lillian is very excited to work with ASoB for her first musical. Lillie has been on stage before doing tap, ballet and jazz. She’s looking forward to trying something new!! She is a 9-year-old girl who will be going into 4th grade in the fall. Lillie has 2 older sisters, 1 older brother, 2 dogs and awesome parents. Ryleigh Miller (Mechanic & Ensemble)
Ryleigh is very excited to work with ASoB for the first time. She has performed in “Finding Nemo Jr,” produced by TP. Ryleigh describes herself as an artist; she loves theater, drawing, singing, and playing her clarinet. Matilda is one of her favorite movies so she's excited to be a part of this cast!
Gabe O'Hara (Michael)
Gabe is excited to be returning to Artistic Synergy of Baltimore for his third time to play Michael Wormwood. You may have previously seen him in “Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical” or “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” He’d like to thank his friends and family for supporting him and he hopes the audience enjoys the show!
Oyin Omojola (Henchman)
Oyin is really happy to be working with ASoB for the second time, previously she performed in “The Rude Mechanics”. She is on summer break and will soon be taking piano lessons. She has a brother and sister, 2 parents, and a Grandma. She wishes everyone good luck and an amazing show! GOOD LUCK!
Nahla Powell (Cook)
Nahla is thrilled to be a part of this amazing production with ASoB. Nahla has been dancing and cheering since she was 3 years old, but this is her very first time on stage, acting and singing. She is loving every moment of this experience and she loves her amazing cast. Break a leg everyone!!!!
Reuben Powell III (Nigel)
Reuben is excited and honored to be a part of this production with ASoB. Reuben has always been active with football, karate, soccer and tons of other sports, but this is his very first time on stage, acting and singing. This experience has given him greater confidence and he loves the friends he’s making. Have a great performance everyone!

Addie Stump (Sergey / Nurse)
Addie is thrilled to be working with ASoB again! Addie's past shows with ASoB were “The Rude Mechanicals” as Robin Starveling and the “10th Anniversary Cabaret.” She was most recently seen in The Woodbrook Player's production of “The Wizard of Oz.” When she is not doing theatre, she participates in dance, Show Choir and Improv. She'd like to thank her parents for their continued support. Break all the legs, cast and crew!
Angel Thapa (Bruce Bogtrotter)
My name is Angel Thapa. This is my first time working with ASoB. Angel is enjoying working with ASOB for the first time. He has never been in a play before. He is currently a student in Elementary School and is about to begin 5th grade.
Shirlainy Tirado (Escapologist / Entertainer)
Shirlainy is thrilled to work with ASoB for the first time. She has done plays with her church, such as, “The Resurrection,” “His Son,” and “God’s Love.” By day she is a private school student at Rosedale Christian Academy. She is also a Sunday school teacher. She enjoys reading, art, and singing. “Thank you, cast and crew, for loads of laughs. I hope everyone enjoys and learns from the play. Good luck guys!”
Harmony VanBlargan (Tommy)
Harmony is thrilled to be in another show with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. She enjoyed being in “In the Nick of Time.” She was very nervous about joining the theatre but has enjoyed it very much.
