Bryan Brown (John Baker)
Bryan is excited to be back on the ASOB stage. He made his debut in ARSENIC AND OLD LACE as Officer Brophy and is grateful to return to the stage!! He likes performing straight plays but his love is musicals!! Bryan would like to thank the cast, crew and production team for allowing him to be in this incredible show and he hopes you all enjoy it!!
Michael Safko (David McGachen)
Michael is very excited to perform with ASoB for the first time. He first started acting when he was ten years old and performed throughout his time in secondary school. After taking a large break for college and law school, he returned to the stage in 2019 and has acted in several shows among several theaters, including: Jekyll & Hyde (General Glossop), Charley's Aunt (Fancourt Babberley), The Last Night of Ballyhoo (Peachy Weil), Miracle on 34th Street (Fred Gailey), Frankenstein (The Creature), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (St. Aphrodisius), Happy Days the Musical (Count Malachi/James Dean), and A Christmas Story (Adult Ralph/Narrator). He would like to thank his wife, Megan, for her continued support and the production team at ASoB for giving him a shot with this show.
Samantha Murray (Tina)
Samantha Murray is excited to be back on the Artistic Synergy of Baltimore stage, having previously been seen as Florence Ungar in The Odd Couple (Female Version). Her favorite roles include JoAnne Galloway in A Few Good Men at Tidewater Players, Bad Idea Bear in Avenue Q at Phoenix Festival Theatre, and Harry in Puffs at ASoB. Samantha would like to thank the cast and the entire production team for all their passion and hard work. Love to Mom, Papa, Nick and Will. Enjoy the show!
Sarah O'Hara (D.L. Hutchison)
Sarah is delighted to be back treading the ASOB boards. She’d like to congratulate Cory on his directorial debut. Slick your hair back real nice and enjoy the show!
Melissa Broy Fortson (Mrs. Carlson)
Melissa has been a part of community and professional theaters for over 40 years. She is a former Equity New York City actress, and has worked in Harford County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City since she was 8 years old. Melissa has been seen in shows with, Ovation Dinner Theater‚ and has enjoyed roles in “Ain’t Misbehavin’” (Nell), “Bye Bye Birdie” (Mae Petersen), “Joseph…Dreamcoat” (Narrator), “The Odd Couple FV” (Olive), “Harvey” (Veta Simmons), “Sweeney Todd,” “Little Shop of Horrors” (Ronnette), “Hairspray” (Motormouth Maybelle), “Avenue Q” (Gary Coleman), “Nunsense” (Sister Hubert), “Best Little W*house in Texas” (Jewel) and “Nunsense 2” (Mother Superior). She hopes you enjoy the show!
Jim Morgan (Wilson)
Jim is happy to be back on stage at ASoB after directing "In the Nick of Time." He has been involved in community theater for over 25 years. Last seen on stage in "Guys and Dolls." He has enjoyed working with this talented cast and has been excited to have witnessed Cory Bauer’s daily growth as a director. And as always he would like to thank Chris for her constant support and Emily for all of this theater nonsense.
Jessie Duggan (Karly McGachen)
Jessie Duggan is excited to make her debut at ASoB! After a long hiatus from the theater, Jessie has appeared onstage in Greenbelt Arts Center's The Toxic Avenger (Sarah), Rockville Little Theater's The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940 (Nikki), Spotlighters Moon Over Buffalo (Eileen) and Heritage Player’s Boeing, Boeing (Gloria). Past favorite roles include Kate, in Kiss Me Kate and Bonnie, in Anything Goes. Special thanks to her cast-mates and the entire crew! Much love and thanks to Alex, Mom, Dad and her friends and family for all their support! Enjoy the show!
Britt Martin (Laura Baker)
Britt Martin said she was taking a break from the spotlight after her role as Frances in Five Women in the Same Dress. However, she couldn't resist not being onstage too long. She is excited and ready to be back onstage. Prior to her last onstage performance, Britt has performed in other plays such as The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Awesome 80s Prom. She continues her acting career in being a re-enactor of local African American figures within the local community. She has the recurring role of Edmonia Highgate, the first black teacher at the Hosanna School, located in Darlington, MD. She would like to thank her super crew of supporters for dealing with her spontaneous world.
