Melissa is so happy to have done this show with this cast and crew. They have been great to get to know, so sweet, and are fun and funny! Watching Louisa grow into her role has also been a great joy! Thank you to everyone of you for making this a stupendous summer! Melissa has been a part of community and professional theaters for over 40 years. She is a former Equity New York City actress, and has worked in Harford County, Baltimore County, and Baltimore City since she was 8 years old. She prides herself on being able to “see outside the box” and casting people in roles based on skill, as much as the desire to work. Melissa has been seen in shows with “Ovation Dinner Theater” and has enjoyed roles in “Ain’t Misbehavin’” (Nell), “Bye Bye Birdie” (Mae Petersen), “Joseph…Dreamcoat” (Narrator), “The Odd Couple FV” (Olive), “Harvey” (Veta Simmons), “Sweeney Todd,” “Little Shop Of Horrors” (Ronnette), “Hairspray” (Motormouth Maybelle), “Avenue Q” (Gary Coleman), “Nunsense” (Sister Hubert), “Best Little W*House In Texas” (Jewel) And “Nunsense 2” (Mother Superior).

Louisa Davis
Louisa is excited that this is her first show back with ASoB! They just recently graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a B.A. in Musical Theatre and minor in Psychology. Previously at ASoB, they were Emma in “Emma! A Pop Musical” and Peggy Jean in “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown!” Other highlights include Bridget (Lizzie: the Musical), Dametas (Head Over Heels), and Williamina Fleming (Silent Sky)! Louisa hopes to take some time to build her resume and take a break from school. Thank you for coming and I hope you enjoy the show! You’re going to have a lot of laughs!

Brooke Jacobs
Brooke is excited to join ASoB for her second show. She previously was backstage for "The Wedding Singer" and is happy to be back in black. Brooke has had a love of theatre her entire life and enjoys seeing as many shows as possible. She can’t wait to see these kids perform after all their hard work! Break legs, cast!

Darwin Ray
Darwin has arranged two of his own unique compositions as Music Director for Rude Mechanicals – the Rude Mechanicals Theme and The Duke & Hippolyta. His other 2021 productions ASoB include a dream role as Music Director and clarinetist for Ain’t Misbehaving, as well as being Co-Music Director for Schoolhouse Rock Live! October 2022 will mark Darwin’s 50 th year as a musician, composer, arranger, and music director and, when not playing clarinet and baritone sax and serving as Staff Arranger for the Howard Burns Jazz Ensemble in Frederick, MD, Darwin works as an Emergency Planner and CPR Instructor Trainer for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As always, Darwin remains truly grateful to ASoB for welcoming him into the family, back in 2018.

Stacey Cosden
Stacey is proud to be a part of another ASoB production. She has been seen in “Clue: The Musical”, “Once Upon a Mattress”, and “Nick of Time.” She also directed “The Wedding Singer,” is a member of the ASoB board, and has served behind the scenes in various ways. When not on stage, she can be found spending time with her husband and her kids, teaching in an elementary school, or reading a good book. Stacey wants to give a shout-out to the entire cast for their hard work and dedication!

Maribel Hernandez
Maribel Hernandez Drost has always had a love for theater since a young age and has enjoyed watching her daughter, Sarai, fall in love with the performing arts. Maribel has performed in multiple dance performances, and choirs since elementary school. She has volunteered and helped different churches and organizations plan, practice, set-up, and perform dance routines and plays. Some of the recent plays she has assisted in were "Once on this Island" & "Annie" at Arundel Christian School, and "School House Rock live! at ASoB. She thanks God, her family, her daughter, and ASoB for allowing her the opportunity to be part of "The Rude Mechanicals."

Sophia Kaskel
Sophia is excited to work her tech magic with "The Rude Mechanicals." This is Sophia‘s third show with ASoB and she loves being a part of the tech crew. Sophia is 14 years old and in the Design and Production Magnet at Patapsco High School. When she is not busy in a show production you can find her dancing at Rising Starz Dance company where she is also a dance teaching assistant. Sophia loves building and painting sets, as well as working behind the scenes. Thanks to everyone who came to support the show! Break a leg to the cast and crew.
