This moving holiday show recreates the experience of attending a recording of a 1940s radio show broadcast on Christmas Eve during World War II. Using period songs and stories inspired by actual veterans, World War II Radio Christmas transports the audience to another time, brought to you by such generous sponsors as Vaseline Hair Tonic and Ipana Toothpaste. An inspiring look at strength in the face of hardship, this play is a reminder of the importance of coming together for the holidays.

Our History

Artistic Community Theatre has been a vibrant part of the local arts scene for over 40 years. Originally founded as the Campus Players in Bartonville, we later transitioned to Pekin, where we performed in various venues, including the old mall and the Pavilion. For two decades, we operated as a vagabond troupe without a permanent home, bringing theatre to the community wherever we could. In 2022, we reached a significant milestone when the Busters purchased our current space and completely renovated it into a gorgeous, cabaret style performance venue. This revitalized space has become our cherished home, where we continue to inspire and entertain our community.
