About Legally Blonde Jr

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive.  As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.

Around the Curtain Community Children's Theatre

ATC is dedicated to the creation of exceptional and transformative theatrical productions that are performed and supported by the children of North Alabama, on stage and off. Through the collective efforts of local professionals volunteering their time, we present a diverse season each year with productions cast towards the different age groups. Students work behind the scenes, learning tech, costuming, backstage, props, sets, and more.  It is our goal that all children have access to the countless benefits that come from an education in the arts, as well as those of being a part of a community that supports them.
