Daddy Long Legs Cast

Jordan Eby (Jerusha Abbott)
(Thurs, Sat mat, Sat eve) is excited to be part of one of the most interesting shows she has performed to date. She studied at the University of Idaho and received her degree in Vocal Performance. She has been performing with APOD about a year now and is thrilled to be doing what she loves with such a dedicated and talented group of people. You may have seen her as Mrs. Potts in their production of Beauty and the Beast or most recently as Jo March in Little Women. Past roles of hers also include Marian Paroo in The Music Man, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, and Johanna in Sweeney Todd. She has been performing within the community for years, singing at various concerts, vocal jubilees and the occasional fair and coffee shop. Singing is her passion, however in her spare time she also enjoys baking, reading, playing games and curling up under a heated blanket. She hopes you enjoy this delightful and heartwarming tale.
Heidi Payne (Jerusha Abbott)
(Wed, Fri, Sun mat) started doing theater when she was eight years old and never stopped. Favorite roles include Alice in Secret Garden (APOD), Specs in Newsies (RTOP), and ensemble in both Tale of Two Cities and Beauty and the Beast (APOD). Choreographer credits include Oliver!, High School Musical, and Beauty and the Beast. Jerusha Abbott has been a dream role for years, and she still can’t quite believe that dream has come true! Like Jerusha, Heidi went to college to study writing (but with a side of theater, of course), and she can often be found scrawling out ideas for her latest book. Her work appears on the podcast Cast of Wonders (episode 612: The Illusionist’s Tent). While her life is often overwhelmingly busy, she frequently drops everything to play with her nephew Simon—who is objectively the cutest baby to ever crawl the earth. She hopes you enjoy the beautiful music, the charming dialogue, and the sweet little skunks!
Isaiah Mitchem (Jervis Pendleton)
(Thurs, Sat eve, Sun mat) was born and raised in Music, Theatre, and Dance. He hasn't had a lot of formal training but has merely marinated in it and picked up what he could. In Isaiah's first show he was 4 years old and performed Fiddler on the Roof in the Beasley Coliseum with RTOP. Since then he has been in over a dozen APOD shows both on stage and helping with costumes, set, and choreography. He also directed High School Musical On Stage. Some of Isaiah's favorite roles include Charlie Bradley in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Fagin in Oliver!, and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast. When not doing theatre Isaiah enjoys his job at Moscow Charter School, writing, dancing, and cake! He loves playing with his nieces and nephew and is pretty confident he isn't an adult yet. . . and not sure when he'll get there. He hopes you enjoy Jervis as much as he does. Isaiah is happy to talk about the cut scene "Master Jervies Charity Ballet" after the show. Enjoy the music and humor of the show lovingly called Mr. Hitching-Post, Clothes Pole, Daddy Long Legs, Smith!
Abe Zakariasen (Jervis Pendleton)
(Wed, Fri, Sat mat) fell in love with performing during his very first show with APOD, The Pirates of Penzance. He has since appeared in many different productions on many different stages. Some of his favorite roles with APOD include Charles Darnay Tale of Two Cities Micheal Wolsey Hide and Seek and Dickon The Secret Garden He has also performed with Troy Community Theatre as Spot Conlon (Newsies) Flint (Something’s Afoot) and Harold Hill (The Music Man). In 2023 Abe decided to try his luck on the professional scene and got a job at Starlight Mt. Theatre where he performed these last two summers, notable roles include The Tin Man (Wizard of Oz) Ren McCormack (Footloose) and Uncle Max (The Sound of Music). Abe would like to thank his voice teacher, Emily Raasch, for being a friend and mentor to him throughout the years, and his amazing family for always supporting him and being weird right along side him. He hopes you get lost in the world of letters, orphans, and spidery trustees and enjoy the show!
Matilda Brooks (Piano)
is a Moscow native whose piano performing experience comes primarily from her family’s church worship band. You may also have seen her accompanying her brother on stage as Kelsi Nielsen in APOD’s High School Musical. Her hobbies include running, playing hockey, and spending time with her parents, three brothers, two sister-in-laws, and one nephew. She would like to thank her dad for giving her a passionate and critical love of music and hopes you enjoy the show!
Kevin Moore (Guitar)
is a father of 4 children, a small business enthusiast, loves playing sports, (at least in his younger days), and has created music since 8 years old. His early stage performances were around 13 playing piano at church and as the "bass" for his family quartet. The story this show represents has always been a favorite of his and he is extremely excited to share it with you. Enjoy the show!
