Playwright
Richard VetereRichard Vetere’s "Black & White City Blues" and "Zaglada" were both produced at the ATA Theater in 2025 and were heralded as the #1 and #2 Best Plays of the year by Theater Scene. His plays are published by Dramatic Publishing and he is a lifetime Member of the Dramatist Guild. This year Table Read released the podcast of his award-winning screenplay Caravaggio. His other movies include The Third Miracle and The Marriage Fool. Mr. Vetere wrote the cult classic film Vigilante and was recently hired to write the screenplay to be published by Fathom Press this year. In 2005 The Frank Melville library created the Richard Vetere Archives at Stony Brook University. Richard Vetere wrote his master’s essay at Columbia University on Schwart’s poetry. Amber Brookesis a British-born, New York City-based actress and director thrilled to be back on the ATA stage. Amber is an alumna of
The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (Class of 2020) and she is a member of The Actors Studio Playwright/Directors Unit. Amber has been involved in numerous productions at ATA as both actress and director. Most recently seen as “Delilah” in Richard Vetere’s critically acclaimed Black and White City Blues, which she also directed. Amber is so grateful for another opportunity to collaborate with Mr Vetere on exciting new work. Amber is honored to be nominated for the Hells Kitchen Award for “Best Breakout Artist Acting & Directing" this year. From the bottom of her heart, Amber would like to thank ATA, the WIT program, Richard, her incredible cast & crew and her loved ones across the globe for their support & unconditional love. Paul MauritzioPaul is an actor based here in New York. He has appeared backstage as a production assistant (Black & White City Blues, A Lesson in Blood) and lighting/spot op (Bring It On, Smoking Kills) in shows at the ATA.

Assist. Director
Jonathan Beebeis a New York-based artist who is thrilled to be back at ATA with another incredible show. He has been involved in a number of ATA productions over the last two years, including Black & White City Blues by Richard Vetere, Henry V, Overruled, The First & The Last, and Traitors by Bruce Lawder. As a writer, two of Jonathan’s plays, Knock, Knock, Knockin’ and The Five Year Reunion, have been featured in The Secret Theatre’s Short Play Festival, with the former advancing into the semifinal round. He was also recently featured as a waiter in the short film Shadows on Canvas, and lent his voice to the award winning podcast Radio Violence (available wherever you listen to your podcasts). Jonathan would like to thank his family, friends, and mentors for giving him the confidence and drive to make it this far. He would also like to thank Richard for creating yet another amazing piece, and Amber for trusting him with the opportunity to help direct it!
