Author – 31 theater-related books (11 books of original monologues). RecordSetter.com – “Author of most published original monologues for actors.” Plays performed in over 200 venues in U.S. & Europe. Two international arts grants, Arts and Letters Award in Drama, Reva Shiner Award, and over 60 playwriting awards. His works has appeared in 40 “Best of the Year” monologue/play anthologies.

Stephen Axelrod
Writer/Actor. His one-man show, "Surf Avenue," won the Jerry Kaufman Award for Excellence in Playwriting. He has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, including "Everyday People," "Law and Order" and "Gotham."

Marc Castle
Marc is an award-winning playwright and actor as well as a director, starting in the business at the age of 10 (long ago!). He has staged productions off-Broadway, off-off-Broadway and regionally. Besides ARTC, which he joined way back in 2001, Marc is a proud member of Emerging Artists Theatre, Actors Equity, SAG-AFTRA, ASCAP, the Dramatist Guild, and an alumnus of both the BMI Composer/Lyricist and Librettist Workshops. Bill Cosgriff
The writer of eight full-length plays and dozens of one-acts. His play, “Rio Rita” was a finalist for the Eugene O’Neill Playwrights Conference; his comedy, “Deathclaw 7: The Escape,” ran on Theatre Row and was a finalist for Lark Theater's Playwright’s Week. His newest comedy, “Love, Sex and Real Estate,” postponed by the pandemic, is now slated for production by ARTC in 2022.

Margo Hammond
These days Margo is mostly a playwright (recently Applause Books included “Blades” in their “Best New 10-Minute Plays 2021”; she is a recipient of ARTC’s Jerry Kaufman Award for Excellence in Playwriting). Margo has enjoyed directing many readings of her own plays, as well her play “Button Man” for ARTC’s Winter Works; also “Overtones” @ Metropolitan Playhouse and Beckett’s “Rough For Theatre I” @ Studio III in NYC. www.margohammond.com member of Dramatist Guild, ARTC, Actors Studio PDU, AEA, SAG/AFTRA.

Kim T. Sharp
Most recently directed a live production of David Harrower’s “Blackbird,” with Francesca Ravera. Directing efforts include the NYC premier of Will Snider’s “Death of a Driver,” at Urban Stages, and Ronan Noone’s “The Atheist,” starring Wolfgang Novogratz. Many thanks to Jerry, Dale, Eileen and Bara, with whom he has produced theatre for over 10 years.

Victoria Sullivan
Both a poet and playwright, with five Equity showcases performed in Manhattan, and productions in Phonecia and Cooperstown, New York. She teaches literature at LI at iBard, co-hosts The Woodstock Roundtable on WDST100.1 FM, and has recently been performing spoken word with a jazz band at Hudson Valley venues. “Scar Tissue” is her third Zoom production.

Bara Swain
Bara's plays and monologues have been staged in 185+ venues in 28 states and seven countries, including 35+ virtual performances and 10 short films. Her work is anthologized by Smith & Kraus, Applause Books, Oxford U. Press, and Art Age Press. Bara serves as the Creative Consultant at Urban Stages. “Thank you, ARTC and our creative teams!”

Kathleen Swan
Kathleen is in her 9th season as Producing Artistic Director of ARTC, where she has been at the helm for eight Equity Showcases (including three multi-play festivals), many reading series, Sunday Workshops and Salons, and now three productions on Zoom. She initiated ARTC’s Developmental Play Readings and International Reading Exchange series. A proud alumna of Boston University’s College of Fine Arts, where she won the Stein Award.
