Greg Conlee (Narrator)
Greg is absolutely thrilled to return to the stage as the Narrator in Into the Woods. This production marks his third community theatre appearance. Some favorite past credits include Godspell (John the Baptist/Judas), Chess (Ensemble), and the title role of Sweeney Todd. Outside of performing, Greg is a psychology undergraduate student at Longwood University where he aspires to help others within his community. I would like to thank the cast, crew, and my family for all the support over the years.
Georgia Marie Dysert (Cinderella)
is beyond excited to be joining Amaryllis Studios for their third annual summer production, and not just because it is Into the Woods! She has loved this show ever since she repeatedly watched her mother's recording of the Mill's production of Into the Woods from 1990/91 where her mother played Jack's/Cinderella's mom. Though she has imagined playing every role, her favorite to sing was always Cinderella, and now she feels so lucky to be able to make that dream a reality and feels so honored to tell a story that has the ability to speak to everyone, and so thrilled to discover yet another layer, another lesson, or another truth every night. She thanks her mother for creating world's she can play in, and her amazingly supportive husband who never says no to any of her dreams even if she is very pregnant when pursuing them. She dedicates her performances to her late brother Joe who was such a colorful creative beam of light, and her little Jack to be who went on this whole journey with her and who she plans to one day "tell him the story of how it all happened".
Mason Robinson (Jack)
"Mason is absolutely whipplebilled to be playing Jack in Amaryllis Studios' Into the Woods. This is his first show with Amaryllis.
