Evander Gonzalez (Stephen/Jesus)Evander Gonzalez is overjoyed to make his musical theatre debut as Jesus in Godspell! Being part of a show that celebrates love, community, and compassion has been a deeply rewarding experience. Portraying this role has reminded him of the power of joy, connection, and storytelling through music. He sends endless gratitude to his incredible husband, whose love and encouragement made this journey possible. “Prepare ye” — it’s going to be a beautiful show!
Karen Moody (Gilmer)Karen is delighted to perform in Godspell, a musical she directed several years ago and has waited decades for the chance to be in the cast. Some of Karen's favorite local theatre credits include Ilona Ritter in She Loves Me (Henrico Theatre Company), Mrs. Pavlenko in A Day in Hollywood/ A Night in the Ukraine (Henrico Theatre Company), Gutele Rothschild in Rothschild and Sons (Jewish Family Theatre) and ensemble roles in Dogwood Dell's Something Rotten!, Spamalot, 42nd Street and Pippin. Elise Cumbia (Peggy)Elise is thrilled to be a part of Amaryllis Studios and Vienna Waits Creatives second production, Godspell. She was last seen in JCC’s Fiddler on the Roof and Amaryllis Studios Chess, the Musical. Some of her favorite past roles have included Emily in HATTheatre's production of From Up Here, Beth in Little Women, Matt in Matt and Ben, and Julia in The Wedding Singer. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano and being outdoors, either hiking/backpacking or running half-marathons around the US.
Rachel Garmon-Williams (Herb)Rachel Garmon-Willliams (They/Them) is thrilled to be a part of Godspell. They have previously been seen onstage in Hamlet (Guildenstern/Francisco/Player Queen/Priest) and Comedy of Errors (Adrianna) with Richmond Shakespeare. They’ve worked with Richmond Triangle Players on Rocky Horror Show, Collective Rage (Betty 5), Log Cabin (Pam), and most recently AirSwimming (Dora/Persephone Understudy). With an extensive career in improv including performing, teaching; they can be found most weekends with Bridge 9 Theater (Their improv company) Love to family, friends, and Travis
Zachary Fortune (Jeffrey)Zachary is excited to return this summer with Amaryllis Studios where he was last seen as Anatoly Sergievsky in Chess. Other favorite credits include Tully Mars in Escape to Margaritaville (Homefront Players), Ted Hanover in Holiday Inn (HTC), Georg Nowack in She Loves Me (Homefront Players), Jack in Into the Woods (Homefront Players), and Ensemble in Something Rotten (Dogwood Dell Festival of the Arts). Zachary studied Music Education with a concentration in voice from Longwood University and is the current choral director at Fairfield Middle School.
Leanna Hicks (Joanne)Leanna is so excited to be in her first Amaryllis Studios and Vienna Waits Creative production! Godspell has been near and dear to her heart since she was a kid so having the opportunity to be in this show is a dream come true! Some of her favorite roles in her career include Audrey in “Little Shop of Horrors”, Lady of the Lake in “Spamalot” and Martha Dunnstock in “Heathers”. She wants to thank her mom for all her direction and support and her sister Georgi for being her biggest cheerleader!
Fawn Baber (Sonia)Fawn Baber is a music major at Brightpoint Community College with plans to transfer to a major university such as Juilliard or Berklee. A lifelong lover of musical theatre, some of her favorite shows include Waitress, The Addams Family Musical, and most recently Death Becomes Her. She’s thrilled to be part of Godspell and hopes the show inspires audiences to embrace love, kindness, and community.
Teri Golasinski (Lamar)Teri is delighted to be making her debut with Amaryllis Studios, LLC. Having
performed in several musicals including Godspell over 30 years ago, she is thrilled for the opportunity to perform in her favorite musical again, this time with her son, Gregory Conlee. She is grateful for all the support from her partner, friends, and family as she takes back to the stage. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Lindsay Bronston (Robin)Lindsay (they/she) is thrilled to be making her debut with Amaryllis Studios! This is her second time performing in Godspell, a show she has held near and dear to her heart since college. Lindsay has just closed Shrek: the Musical with the Phantom Players, and has previously been seen onstage with OTARP, the Watermelon Otter Players, Black VA Theatre Alliance, and Virginia Repertory Theatre's children's tours. Lindsay hopes this show inspires you, fills you with positive energy, and reminds you how important it is to love one another. Her gratitude is beyond expression; enjoy the show!
Greg Conlee (David/John the Baptist/Judas)A budding thespian with a passion for storytelling, Greg simply cannot wait to perform for you tonight! Last summer he was in the ensemble for Amaryllis Studios' debut show, Chess, and had such an amazing time he knew he had to come back to work with them again! Fresh out of high school, where he performed in shows such as "Disaster!"(Maury), "Sweeney Todd"(Sweeney Todd), and "A Christmas Story: The Musical"(Jean Shepherd), he's hungry to gain more experience with community theatre and hone his craft to the fullest possible extent.
