The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon (full-length) Stay-at-Home Edition Cast

Alexandra Munoz (Actor, Prince 2, Witch, Little Red, King)
Alex has been apart of 5 shows and this will be her 6th. As her senior year comes to an end she is just glad that she is apart of one last show even if it is virtually. "I am excited and a little nervous to see how the show is going to turn out I am still very happy and grateful that we are doing a fun show. I've played quite a few roles and I think these or some of the more interesting roles I've played. Although times are still hard and this is not where I expected to be or to be doing for my senior year show I am still very thankful for our amazing director, Mr.Wiggins, and cast who are putting in the time and work to make this show happen. I'd also like to thank Frankie for doing the show even if he didn't want to.
Cortnie Velasquez (Narrator 1)
This is Cortnie's 9th show here at Alameda including: Novio Boy, The Importance Of Being Earnest, How To Succeed…, She Kills Monsters, Shrek The Musical, Arsenic And Old Lace, Young Frankenstein, and Home For The Holidays/ Secrets In A Gift. Cortnie says: Even with all my previous experience, this show was a completely new experience to me. I had to learn so many new skills, and I even got to direct! It may not have been the same as previous years, but It was an experience I absolutely loved. I want to thank my fellow castmates for being committed, and especially Mr. Wiggins. Here's to 4 years together, I'll never forget what you taught me.
Anthony Sanchez Muniz (Narrator 2, King 2, Dwarf 2, Johannes)
Anthony Sanchez Muniz is a currently a sophomore at Alameda International. He's is very grateful for getting the chance to act once again. His past production credits include, Shrek the Musical, Arsenic and Old Lace and, Young Frankenstein The Musical. He also plays the trumpet and sings in choir. He would like to thank the drama club for making this show possible and being able to continue preforming even with the pandemic.
Emily Valera (Dirt Merchant, Mother, Crab Person 2.)
Also Playing Witch 2 - This is Emi's 5th show here at Alameda. She's done two musicals and two plays so far and plans to do many more during her remaining years at Alameda. She was inspired by friends and teachers to join the program and has stayed ever since. She grew up on the stage and enjoys being able to bring shows to people. She says, "Though this year has been weird, I'm glad to still be a part of something that can potentially bring happiness to people, especially since some cant be with their families this year."
Marlene Franco Flores (Marlene, Crab Person 1, Frog Prince)
Also Playing Raven, The Wolf and Stage Manager - Marlene is happy to be able to perform in her second highschool show. Her first was Young Frankenstein where she made herself useful as a Stage Crew Manager. Handling set design and construction as well as transitions during the show itself. She's happy to make herself useful as an actor this time inspite of it not being her forte. Marlene looks forward to future shows and performances with this cast and crew in the future
Karina Caldera (Girl, Hansel, Girl Without Hands, Dwarf)
This will be Karina’s sixth and last show at Alameda. Although she isn’t on a stage for her last performance she is enjoying this show to the fullest, one virtual show isn’t gonna stop her! She would like to thank everyone who has helped her through her years in theatre, from her family and friends, to her cast mates helping her improve! “It was a bumpy ride but that happens with every senior in high school, right?”
Ragan Reither (Princess, Snow White, Woodcutter)
Also Playing Fishergirl - This is Ragan's First year acting!
Francisco Carrillo - Martinez (Prince, Audience Member, Father)
Also Played Rumpelstiltskin - This is Frankie's 5th show here. He has been doing lights for the past productions here at Alameda. But this year he has taken a big turn and is trying out acting. He appeared in Home for the Holidays and in this production of Brothers Grimm'. He hopes you enjoy the show and would like to thank everyone who forced him, "especially alex, hugs <3".
Kacey Hoang (Gretel, Talking Fish, Plinkie Plie)
Also Played Grandma and Rapunzel - Kacey or known as gretal and a few other characters in this production has also appears in a couple other past shows put on by the drama club. She expresses herself through other art forms as well like drawing and painting and likes visuals instead of reading and isn’t much of a writer herself.
Lizbeth Acuna - Luna (Enchantress)
Senior. Lizbeth Acuña's First and Last year in the theatre department. She is playing Enchantress in the show, The Brothers' Grimm Spectaculathon. It is her last year at Alameda, and she has been apart of activities like Soccer, and she is Editor for the school Yearbook. She is glad that she is apart of this show this year and hopes you enjoy it!
