Matthew HagerMatthew is a theatre artist based in Raleigh, NC. He has acted for many local arts organizations, including NC Theatre, NC Symphony, Burning Coal Theatre Company, Bulldog Ensemble, Justice Theatre Project, Deep Dish Theater, Honest Pint, Manbites Dog, and Aggregate Theatre Company. As a theatre educator, Matthew created and runs Aggregate's education wing, teaches acting and voice at NC Theatre, and directs Justice Theater Project's annual summer camp production. As a writer/composer, Matthew has written new works for NC Theatre, Justice Theater Project, Seed Art Share, and Aggregate. He is currently writing a new musical with playwright Tamara Kissane for Honest Pint. Matthew formed Aggregate in 2018 in order to develop a younger theatergoing audience in the Triangle, and he loves spreading the joy and impact of theatre to all generations.

A small town boy who moved to London to pursue his dreams, someday, he hopes to amount to something that will make his mother proud.
