Executive Director
Michelle Lang-Raymond a founder and Executive Director of Acts On Stage theater. She is an Artist, Minister, Playwright, Strategist and Entrepreneur and is honored to be a long-standing Music Director of the Teen Summer Musical. Michelle created the interactive arts-based workshop “The Art of Tough Talks” and believes it encapsulates her heart to create pathways and bridges for art as activism. Michelle is a native of Mississippi and has resided in Seattle over 30 years. She and her husband Jay co-own The Scene In South Park coffee cafe. Follow and connect at @MsMichelleLang

Artistic Director
Isiah Anderson Jr. a native of Joliet, IL, relocated to Seattle after what he thought was a “short visit”. As the oldest of three, he was raised by a loving single mother and now enjoys being the best friend of his father. Isiah serves as the Parks Department Recreation Program Coordinator for Citywide Performing Arts and has been the Director of Teen Summer Musical for more than 20 years. He’s an actor and well-known national Comedian who has appeared several times on BET’s Comic View and has been a featured performer on Russell Simmons’s Def Jam Comedy Tour. Isiah is AOS’s co-founder and Artistic Director. He is a father and proud member of New Hope Baptist Church and gives praise and glory to Jesus Christ for the many blessings he has and continues to receive.

Director’s Assistant/Stage Management
Julian Ling Stage Managed since his sophomore year in high school. At just 20 years old, he’s credited with stage managing “Newsies”, “Mama Mia”, “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time”, “Sadie’s Kitchen”, and “The Wiz”! Julian hopes to pursue a career as a union Stage Manager! “Shout out to my dad and my sister for all the support they have given me! Production Associate
Jeffery Cheatham II a professional actor, children’s book author and Founder of the Seattle Urban Book Exchange - an organization that seeks, supports and amplifies writers of Color. Jeffrey was named as a Jack Straw Cultural Writers Cohort for the 2020 class. His stage appearances include, “A Raisin in the Sun”, “Pipeline”, “Brown Bodies on a Blue Earth”, and “A Soldier’s Play”. Production Associate
Joshua Micah Webb is a professional actor as well as a mentor and basketball coach at Denny Middle School International. When he’s not onstage or courtside, he serves as a barista at the Scene in South Park! Joshua’s stage credits include prominent roles in “Pipeline”, “A Soldier’s Play”, “KingX” and “Raisin in the Sun”. Joshua Is grateful for the support of his family, friends and the AOS team! Program Manager
Sam Townsend Over the past 30 years , Sam has served as Executive Administrator of the Greater Glory Ministries as well as Director of the Music and Worship Arts Department at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship . Sam founded the Townsend School of Music and Arts specializing in performance, leadership, and production management training. In 2023, Sam became the Director of Programs for AOS launching the Renaissance20 Young Artist Development Program. He looks forward to enrolling more students for the upcoming term. Director of operations
Michael Walker With a genuine heart for people and adherence to sound business standards, Michael is a seasoned Human Resources/Operations professional with almost three decades of industry experience. As Director of Operations at Acts On Stage, he oversees all the non-profit business responsibilities, with a keen eye for efficiency and a passion for the arts, he drives operational excellence to support the company's artistic vision. Mike is the proud parent of three TSM Alums including “The Lion” of whom he is proud beyond words!

Program Manager
Michael Ling a writer, speaker, and podcaster whose life is deeply rooted in faith and purpose. A proud father of two, Michael finds joy in fatherhood, cooking, photography, and exploring the outdoors. His creative journey extends to the stage, having performed in productions such as “A Soldier’s Play”, “Sadie’s Kitchen”, “Story of an Off Brand Band”, and now “Detroit ’67”. Through his podcast (A Walk Through the Mud) and his upcoming book Journey: The Story of Persevering Through Forgiveness, Michael uses his voice to inspire others to heal, forgive, and walk boldly in faith. Sound Engineer
Curtis Riggins - a native of Seattle, WA, is a seasoned sound engineer and proud father of two daughters. His journey began at the age of 13, sparked by a deep fascination with the intricacies of sound. His first opportunity came at his local church with a simple question, “What do these buttons do?”. That moment ignited a lifelong career in sound engineering. He expanded his expertise with local high schools, Seattle Children’s Theatre, D Bow Productions, and alongside the late Greg Thompson. In 2009, Curt began his long-standing collaboration with the Teen Summer Musical running shows at The Moore Theatre and Benaroya Hall. Curtis firmly believes in turning passion into profession and is dedicated to doing what he loves every day.

Costume Designer
Carlisia "mac" Minnis a Seattle based native, who has always had an eye for designing and sewing clothes. After years of just making clothes for fun and friends, Carlisia enrolled into the Seattle Central Community College apparel program. There she received an Associate of Applied Science in Apparel Design. Upon graduating she started my own business; Mac Fashion House. After 10 years, she's still producing garments with lots of colors, prints, and textures giving women the feeling of being sexy, sensual, and sassy, while the guys are walking around proud, handsome, and feeling GQ.
