Cameron Haddock (J. Pierrepont Finch)Cameron has had an amazing time stepping into Finch’s shoes! This is his first production with Act II Players, though he is a familiar face at Orange Park Community Theater. Recent OPCT roles include YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (The Monster), SHE LOVES ME (Georg Nowack), CRY-BABY (Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker), ROCK OF AGES (Stacee Jaxx), and FOOTLOOSE (Willard). Offstage, he enjoys movies, basketball, comic books, and D&D. He would like to thank his family, friends, and everyone who has supported him along the way!
Avery Maxham (Rosemary Pilkington)Avery is thrilled to be back onstage with Act II Players! She is so grateful to the entire cast and crew of this production for their hard work to bring this show to life. Sharing the stage with so many friends is truly a memorable experience. She wants to thank the Fixels for always bringing the magic to the stage.
Karl Rogers (J. B. Biggley)Karl started his association with community theatre over 40 years ago, taking the stage as Matt in THE FANTASTICKS at Orange Park Community Theatre and is still finding the light onstage! Having worked at most of northeast Florida’s long-standing venues, he returns to Act II’s stage after last summer’s production, BRIGHT STAR, and this spring’s cabaret. In addition to being part of the area’s theatre scene, Karl has also had the pleasure of adjudicating middle and high school theatre festivals in Florida and Georgia for the last 30+ years. With his attention having turned more to music over the last few years, he has performed with the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus, the River City Men’s Chorus of Jacksonville, the Jacksonville Men’s Chorus, and the mixed ensemble, One AcChord. He is a founding and active member of the men’s ensemble, Vocal Theory Project. Although there are too many theatre memories to share, one of his lasting memories is performing the opening monologue, Singing Saved My Life, at the New York premiere of THE HOLOCAUST CANTATA: SONGS FROM THE CAMPS, at Lincoln Center and composed and directed by Donald McCullough, one of Jacksonville’s leading composers. A banker by day, community volunteer, and art enthusiast, he extends his thanks to long-time friends, the Fixels, and the cast and crew of this entertaining show.
Ethan Walls (Bud Frump)Ethan is ecstatic to return to the stage after performing in Act II Players’ Cabaret this past spring! His recent credits include BRIGHT STAR (Max/ Young Daddy Cane) with Act II Players; RENT (Squeegee Man/ Waiter), SUMMER: THE DONNA SUMMER MUSICAL (Brian/ Ensemble), and TARZAN (Ensemble) with Players by the Sea; and CABARET (Bobby) with GreenLight Theatre Co. Offstage, Ethan can be found crafting your favorite beverages at Starbucks or spreading PLUR at the nearest rave. Enjoy the show!
Katie O’Neill (Smitty)After joining Act II Players for their Curtain Call Cabaret, Katie is thrilled to now officially make her musical production debut with them! Recent past credits include Penny Pingleton (HAIRSPRAY), Bella Lamb (REHEARSAL FOR MURDER), Ado Annie (OKLAHOMA), and Mama (I REMEMBER MAMA). She would like to thank the entire team at Act II Players for being so welcoming to her as she’s been navigating a move back to Jacksonville after nearly a decade living in Orlando.
Julia Rigon (Hedy LaRue)Julia is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform again with friend old and new. She has been performing for as long as she can remember! She is the theatre director at Bartram Trail High School and loves sharing her love and passion for theatre with her students and everyone who comes to watch the shows. Recent productions include CARRIE (Margaret White), MACBETH (Lady Macbeth), and Roger & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA (Gabrielle).
Dennis Stouse (Book Voice/Toynbee/TV Announcer)Dennis is making his second appearance with Act II Players. He portrayed George Bailey in last season's IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A RADIO PLAY. Dennis is a journalist and retired professor of communication at Jacksonville University. His favorite past roles are Nicely Nicely Johnson in GUYS AND DOLLS, Mr. MacAfee in BYE, BYE BIRDIE, and Harold in BOYS AND THE BAND. He is a world traveler and writes about his journeys.
Chloe Dresback (Bratt)Chloe is so excited to be a part of HOW TO SUCCEED! Recently, she made her Act II Players debut as Florence/Well-Dressed Woman in BRIGHT STAR last year and the CURTAIN CALL CABARET in May. Other recent roles include Ensemble in CARRIE: THE MUSICAL, Kim MacAfee in BYE, BYE, BIRDIE, and Antonio in TWELFTH NIGHT. when she’s not attending classes as a child psychology major, she enjoys playing with her cat Jellybean and working on her next cosplays for conventions.
Marilyn Painter (Miss Jones)Marilyn is excited to join this wonderful group of performers! She began her community theatre journey in 2019 when she played Aunt Irma in THREE’S A FAMILY. The experience was so fun that she caught the acting bug right away! Favorite roles include Mrs. Clara Abramovich (CONEY ISLAND CHRISTMAS), Mama Murphy/Ensemble (BRIGHT STAR), and Elvira (BLITHE SPIRIT). Marilyn lives in Mandarin with her husband Alan, to whom she's grateful for his constant encouragement (and getting her into acting in the first place), and two grumpy cats, Marsha and Blizzard. A writing professor at Florida State College at Jacksonville, when not grading papers, Marilyn enjoys not only community theatre, but also friends and family, yoga, singing, and dancing. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Bryan Morris (Mr. Twimble/Tackaberry)Bryan is excited to make his Act II Players debut in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. He recently appeared as Eugene in Greenlight Theatre Company’s production of GREASE and worked as a Supporting Player for FSCJ Artist Series’ NEXT STOP BROADWAY camp. Bryan earned his B.A. in Digital Arts and Sciences from the University of Florida and is currently completing psychology coursework at the University of North Florida.
Skanda Pratheek (Gatch)This is Skanda’s first production with Act II Players. He is really excited for this new opportunity and has loved the every bit of the journey towards this show. His recent performances are productions at Creekside High school, where he played Plankton in SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL and Demetrius in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. He appreciates his friends, family, and all his cast and crew members for their support.
Savannah Haddock (Miss Krumholtz)Savannah is ecstatic to be a part of Act II Players' HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING! She has done theatre throughout her life, especially in high school, but this her first time doing a show with a community theatre. She is so happy with her part in the musical and had an amazing time during rehearsals. She hopes you enjoy the show as much as she does!
Joel Silverstein (Matthews/Policeman)Joel is a veteran of the world of theatre. He spent four years in Creekside High School's Drama Club, which led to roles like Sir Studley in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS (2023), Sam in THE CURIOUS SAVAGE (2023), and possibly his favorite role, Lurch in THE ADDAMS FAMILY (2024). Last year, he worked with Act II Players as Daryll in BRIGHT STAR. Now, he's back from his first full year of college and is excited to work with them again.

Andrew Eger (Johnson)Andrew has enjoyed learning the ways of business with his cast and crew! He is ecstatic to spend his second show with Act II Players on the stage; previously, he was on the tech team for BRIGHT STAR. While a student for 10 months, he has had so much fun being an executive in this production for the other two! He says thank you to his friends and family for supporting him during all his theatre performances.
Lisa Hunt (Davis)Lisa is thrilled to be in her second production at Act II Players, her first being most recently in CURTAIN CALL CABARET!. She started her community theatre journey last year at Orange Park Community Theater where she played several small roles, with her most recent an Ensemble role in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. She wants to thank her amazing husband and boys for their continued support in her passion, as well as her family and friends who have cheered her on every step of the way. She is honored to share the stage with this amazing cast and crew and hopes you enjoy the show.
Shannen Murray (Ovington)Shannen is excited to return to the stage in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING. After a long break from theatre, she recently played Ruth in Act II Players’ production of BLITHE SPIRIT, her first lead role. She is grateful to be back on stage and to be part of this fun show with so many talented actors!
Tom Mackin (Jenkins/Mr. Wally Womper)Tom is proud to return for his third production with Act II Players. He previously performed as the sketchy lawyer Stanford in BRIGHT STAR and the skeptical Doctor Bradman in BLITHE SPIRIT. Tom thanks his wife Trish for her unwavering support and deeply appreciates the opportunity to work with our Producer Jamie and the fabulous Family Fixel again. He is humbled to work with such a talented and hard-working cast and crew.
Emmy Gilyana (Ensemble)Emmy is so exited to be a part of HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS! She’s been a part of Act II Players by working on the tech side. She’s teched for MARY POPPINS and BRIGHT STAR. On stage you might previously seen her as an electric skate in SPONGEBOB or as Puck in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM at Creekside High School. Going into her senior year, Emmy is exited to be a part of a local community theatre. This show has challenged her and helped her learn more about the theatre world. She can’t wait to share the beauty of this production with her friends and family!
Katelyn Maguire (Ensemble)Katelynn is exited to be part of her first performance with Act II Players. Previously she has been part of ensemble for HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD and SPONGEBOB THE MUSICAL. She is super grateful to be part of this wonderful production and is exited to continue being part of local theatre!
Meg Mullaney (Ensemble)Megan is thrilled to be returning for her second production with Act II Players! Her first show was BRIGHT STAR, which sparked a new passion for theatre and performing. She would like to thank everybody in the cast and crew as well as her family and friends for their support.
Juliana Williams (Ensemble)Juliana is beyond grateful to be a part of another amazing Act II Players production! She is happy to be back after playing Margo in BRIGHT STAR last year. With dreams of pursuing musical theatre, Juliana double majors in Theatre and Psychology at the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). She would like to thank the Fixels for always welcoming her back; she wouldn't have found her love for performing without them!
Camille Ziegler (Ensemble)Camille is excited to be returning to Act II Players. She was last seen as Edna/Ensemble in BRIGHT STAR, and was recently in CARMEN as an ensemble member at First Coast Opera. She is pursuing a degree in Childhood Education at FSCJ. She would like to thank the Fixels for casting her in this show.
Caragh Zeigler (Ensemble)Caragh is excited to be returning to Act II Players. She is a rising junior Musical Theatre major at Coastal Carolina University. Recent roles include Sister Mary Robert in SISTER ACT at Long Bay Theatre, “Turn Back, O Man” in GODSPELL at Coastal Carolina University, and Dorothy Gale in THE WIZARD OF OZ at Theatre of the Republic. She would like to thank her family, friends, and the Fixels for giving her this opportunity to make her assistant music director debut.
