Disney’s Newsies at American Canyon Highschool theater April 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30. Set in 1899, in New York City, Newsies the Musical, follows the story of Jack Kelly, a handsome, charismatic newsboy, who unites his peers in a strike to achieve fair wages and working conditions. Broad, moving, musical numbers, breathtaking dancing, and gut-wrenching acting come together to create an unforgettable story. We welcome you to join us in this saga of romance, action, and unforgettable friendships!

ACHS Theatre Arts is a growing, passionate group of students in Drama 1, 2, and Advanced Drama and participating in after-school productions. We are proud to present two full-length shows every year as well as "Winter One-Acts" in January. Theatre is unique in that it is the most authentic project-based learning possible. Students collaborate to bring a show to life and then present it to friends, peers, and community members.

American Canyon High School is a comprehensive high school located at the southern end of the Napa Valley. Opened in 2012, ACHS is proud to be a green school and a part of the Napa Valley Unified School District.
