New Sound System for RiverTowne Players
RiverTowne Players is in the works to install a brand new sound system for our 2024 season and beyond! As a non-profit community theatre, it is donations like yours that allow us to keep the arts and theatre alive in New Bern. Even the smallest amount can make the biggest difference. Your support for a new sound system helps create a theatre experience you will never forget. We simply couldn’t do what we do without amazing people like you!

Young Actors Academy Registration and Payments
RiverTowne Players Young Actors Academy is a 12 week theater education experience that culminates in a Broadway Kids performance. Class begins February 1st at 5:30 PM. Academy participants will be given knowledge and experience in auditioning, preparing and performing a show, lighting design and operation, costume design and building, and improvisation, show memorization, voice and character development. Registration is $450 per student. If you are making payments instead of the one-time payment, there is an initial $100 deposit to hold your childs spot. The additional payments will be due in February, March, April (payable anytime during that month) and May (May 9th is the cutoff for payment). An email will be sent as a reminder. Price includes an academy t-shirt (hyperlink will be sent separately). Academy starts Thursday February 1st from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, with all classes taking place Thursday evenings. A final performance will take place May 17th and 18th at 7:00PM (seating by donation only). There are only 25 slots available. Camp Bravo Youth Summer Camp
Camp Bravo is a two-week musical theater intensive camp that gives cadets (ages 8-13) of any theater experience a chance to explore the exciting world of theater. Embark on a thrilling day camp journey from Monday, June 17th to Friday, June 28th, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday - Friday, culminating in two showcase performances at the end of camp, Friday June 28th at 3:00 PM and Saturday June 29th at 3:00 PM. Each day is packed with activities that refine your skills and boost your stage confidence. Registration is $300 per student. If you are making payments instead of the one-time payment, there is an initial $100 deposit to hold your cadet’s spot. The full payment must be made in full by the start of the camp, June 17th. An email will be sent as a reminder for payments. The price includes a camp T-shirt (hyperlink will be sent prior to the beginning of camp). The cutoff for signing up is June 1st. If there are slots available after June 1st, we can still enroll your cadet, but cannot guarantee they will receive their Camp Bravo shirt in the correct size. When checking out, please include your cadets name in the Comments / Special Requests box before submitting payment.
