Every play we put on here at North costs our department $1,000-$2,000. That price tag includes scripts, performance fees, costumes, set pieces, props, marketing and more. The money for that either has to come from the class/department budget or from the drama club account (which is funded by ticket sales and donations). The Drama Department, being a new program, did not receive a department budget this year, and ticket sales for the Drama Club shows don't cover the full cost of the show (because I want to keep it affordable for all students and families).

You can probably see where this is going. I will continue to push ALL FUNDING SOURCES - from North, D11 and any grants or private funding I can track down. I am also working on some cool fundraising events, as well as finishing up an in-class fundraising effort through a company called Snap!Raise. 

But the honest to (dramatic) goodness truth is that YOUR monetary donations here are the most impactful. 100% of your donation here goes to North Drama!
