A tradition that many theater troupes have before going on for a performance is something called “Show Circle.” This is when all the cast link hands and hype each other up. For the longest time the backstage area of NOFEB's available show space was long and narrow and we developed the “Show-val” (Show Oval) A theme seen in many a show-val was the fact that our cast members felt like before they joined us they didn't fit anywhere, but after a season with us they felt like they belonged.

That has become our goal. We are a place for misfits to be themselves and be included, maybe for the first time ever.
